One look at that shed and as Mike the Scavenger would say, "back the truck up". Whooo! 07:24 telephone wire for sure. I have a basket here made from it - woven in Africa. Probably done here too. Looks like you'll get your $500 back. Too bad the Underwood Sewing machine was really a typewriter! (LOL)
Your Mother's garden is so beautiful.I really love seeing things like that , that you share.Your program is very interesting. It nice to see someone saves treasures from the past. The three milk cans were awesome. All and all great video brings back so many memories.
It looks just like one of my mom’s sheds in Ocosta. My brother stole her property and her stuff. Watching this makes me feel like I’m visiting there...very nostalgic...thank you
When I was little my aunt and uncle would take me on rides and every time we would pass a junkyard I would say " I would love to own that". Just think of the finds. That is why I love watching this video! I would love to sit and sort things for you. I have been a lot of things that have nothing to do with junk but could become a hoarder. I am 79 and still like little things and sorting them. I have lots of jewelry making supplies and lots of S. crystal. Lots of semi-precious stones and thousands of beads. Vintage etc. Broaches galore. Would love to sell some things. Take care and keep on junking and picking. Love it. I am also an artist and do spend a lot of time drawing. If you know of someone who is interested in my jewelry let me know. Thanks.
get the tiller...we had a huge garden like you and my Dad always used his tiller! As you have probably noticed, I get such vicarious enjoyment from your channel
A lot of good stuff in the shed. Look forward to seeing more. Your moms garden is beautiful. I love all the different flowers. I’ve never seen Mexican sunflowers. Thanks for sharing. 🌺
I know me being a seamstress I was wondering where the needle was.. but wow the stuff in that shed is a pioneer dreamers dream .. thanks Dave another great video.. peace
Loved this video. I love to see all the treasures you find under 30 years of dust. That truck was awesome and the folding milk is very rare. See you tomorrow
Oh wow. Milk cans reminds me of how my mom painted 4 milk cans added decals and put a cushion on top to go with a huge wooden barrel with a round table top attached for her farmhouse kitchen. She also had a lazy Susan attached to table top. Very unique. And she made it herself. It was passed around family members for years.
Wow. This was the most exciting episode yet. I hope there's a part 2. It would also be cool to see some of the stuff sold at the market. So much cool stuff.
WOW - all those Old and Tools - Yes - its like a Treasure Hunt - soooo much Cool Stuff - We think that You hit the Jack Pot again!! Stay Safe and Greetings from us in Australia - We Love it !!!!
The plane is a Stanley Bailey 35 i believe, clean it up. They go for 130$ in good condition. I would sell alot of that stuff on Ebay, the flea is for the cheap stuff.
Great digging in that shed , those tire gauges sell for 7-10 bucks a piece Great for eBay. Another great adventure Dave You are very blessed , happy for ya buddy 🌸🌞
Use organizing boxes or bins to sort and filter as you go along. A big one for scrap, another for tools, another big one for take and go thru later, one for bits and pieces, another for fluids. Might help as you move thru. Larger tool boxes go directly to the truck, and the milk jugs too - go right to the truck.
You have found a gold mine ... even with just scrap metal, screws and bolts you recover what you spent. However it is a fantastic place, there in the middle you can find everything. Compliments.
At 25:09 you picked up a yellow electric tool. If I am correct, it is an old Black and Decker tool used to cut metal sheets. Especially effective on metal roofing. Don't know if it's worth anything but I would highly recommend it as a tool to hang on to.
Great video Dave, A great way to start the day watching you go through a “shed” full of treasures, great finds, my picks, what can I say...... nearly everything, hope you well selling I have never seen a driving bar with a spade end Wow!!! Thanks again Dave, you come across as a very busy man and who would likely say “ Not enough hours in the day” frequently Take care and be safe Sam
Great video, Dave. You need to start training the kids to be camera men, free up your hands. Have fun organising all that. Please keep us informed about how you are actually doing on that previous house clean out.
Chris-ABQ...Great video!...You mentioned your going to have a lot of work ahead...looks like Fun work! The Truck was just a great find....Your Mom's yard and garden is beautiful!
I buy and sell Vintage USA made screws, nuts and bolts Just sold 100 brass wood screws for 45$ as an example on Ebay. Its worth sorting this stuff out. I was licking my lips.
You could really use a head camera to free up both of your hands. It'd go faster for you digging and trying to open things etc.and make it easier for your viewers too. I watch a dumpster diver and it works out perfect. Looks like you found a lot of good old stuff.
Dave, what a great video of the tool shed purchase. When you get everything sorted, what would be the price of the truck with shipping to NC ? Again...great video !
Hout drill index gets decent $$ without the bits. Bits can be sharpened. MAC set is the gold. Buy 40% Vinegar soak anything rusty and brush with wire. It will become brand new before your eyes. Vinegar is harmless to the environment. Amazon sells the 40%
Dave, those bailey planers go for $100 to $200 on ebay. The #5 & #7 are the more popular ones but it shows other numbers going for a good amount. Don't sell it for $20 at the flea market.

This should be enough to keep you in the Flea Market business for a while. I hope there's room in the warehouse for all of this stuff. Good luck, $$$.
Those "clips" at 13:11 are actually butt markers for marking the placement of butt hinges on doors.

What was in that heavy milk can? Great video..
I saw a video where you can soak tools that are seized like that in vinegar and it fixes them. Have to leave it over night.
You could really use a head camera to free up both of your hands. It'd go faster for you digging and trying to open things etc.and make it easier for your viewers too. I watch a dumpster diver and it works out perfect. Looks like you found a lot of good old stuff.
