    This was the video that finally 'clicked' for me! Was literally in a tight space with a quatrefoil pattern. Tried SO many times to figure this folding thing and could never get it. Got it once by accident and could never replicate it! LOL so your video right at 13:45 with using the hook was what worked for me. I tried it a second time and that worked too! Dare I say I think I've got it?? LOL Thanks for all you have done for us newbies. I know you aren't in here as frequently as before but we all really appreciate when you pop by to surprise us with another well-done tutorial! Thank you and hope you are keeping safe during these difficult times surviving a pandemic!

    I finally did it!!! Thank you so very much. I know I will have to refer to your video, for a while, everytime I have to do the folded join in your second example.

    I couldn't figure out how to close the set of rings until you showed to reverse the last join. I couldn't tell if using the hook, do you still reverse to get it to lay flat and ending with the stitches in the right direction? Thank you! Still trying to learn and figure it out!

    I love tatting, but it has been a while since I did any. You inspired me to start again. You were a little too fast to see what you wrre doing exactly. On the other hand I k ow how to do the double stitches & picots. Enjoyed your video.

      So glad that you are inspired to start again. :) If you ever need to see this or any other of my videos slower, if you view them on the computer youtube allows you to change the video speed on the player settings . :) Not sure if you can do that on a phone though.

      Great video idea. I should definitely show how to undo mistakes! I do that all the time.

    Would certainly appreciate that. As long as I have written instructions, I'm fine, but looking at a diagram befuddles me !! Thank you in advance.

    Can you do pull the tread with small crochet hook through the picot and put on the needle? 🤗

    • @RustiKate
      @RustiKate  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you can use a small crochet hook to pull the thread through the picot and place it on the needle. I tried to show this in this video, especially in the last part. Do you need me to show a closer, close up? Thanks for your comment. :)

    • @marciasilviajohnson6461

      @@RustiKate the video is blurry at the part you twist the picot, I couldn't get that very clear; this is taking me to much work to get right, am making a six ring triangle and when I come to the joining part, it's almost imposible (for me) to do it right...heeeeeeelp, please!!!! 🤗
      Blessings from Argentina 🇦🇷!!!!
      Thank you for the video, anyway!!! 🙋‍♀️

    I'm assuming this video was for people who know what they're doing lol it was very fast but I love your work

    • @RustiKate
      @RustiKate  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you ever feel like my hands are moving too fast, TH-cam has a video speed adjuster on their video player under setting (the gear symbol) when watched on a computer or TV, not sure about on cell phone. You can slow it down or speed it up to exactly what is right, it is pretty awesome. :)

  • @stacijo7989
    @stacijo7989 ปีที่แล้ว

    Never tried this before, but looks fairly easy. But as you're showing this on camera so fast, it's very hard to tell what you're doing, cause your camera keeps going out of focus.
