I just LOVE when the main antagonist isn't the final boss and ended up dying leaving just us and the thing he create. It really give you a unique feeling that I dont see that much in video games
Technically he is the final boss. His Dark Fawful Bug form is the final opponent Mario & Luigi face in the game.

Imagine we get another game like Bowser’s inside story where in the finale (pun intended), Bowser falls into lava and leaps out to finish the fight as Dry Bowser

This song never disappoints and in this type of orchestra, oh it does bring POWER. If Bowser’s dead looking like this, he just has his flesh shell on him and he still is active with the form of Dry Bowser. He still should act himself, but he would be more frightening if he didn’t fall into a volcano and he can definitely use that to an advantage. With this song? This would be perfect to strike fear to anything that comes in contact with the Koopa King.
Only problem is...he can't win like this. The decaying flesh and infections from being dead would kill the brothers inside him. But the dark star core wouldn't be affected.
Epic dark version! Also interesting idea about a zombie version, its like if the fusion with Bowser DNA wasnt complete.

I love how the tempo feels slightly slowed, it helps add this huge dramatic weight on top of this already awesome score.

Bowser is generally depicted as a standard Saturday morning cartoon villain, when portrayed in the Mario games. Here he actually looks like an undead demon, spawned from the depths of hell. That's pretty cool, if a bit intimidating.
Nintendo would never endorse this, but I have the perfect idea for a game. Bowser becomes this demonic like figure and his goal is to not only locate Princess Peach, but kill her (if unable to turn her into a demonic broodmother) as his first step leading to the downfall of the Mushroom Kingdom. Mario is to collect Star Power and Cat Bells to become the giant Super Saiyan cat to fight him off once again in an epic battle of good vs. evil.
This is when bowser gets tired of losing to Mario and starts raging more than usual
