What are your thoughts?! I loved seeing the group come to life and the song is pretty catchy too! ☺
Ezreal is so Baekhyun coded it's the perfect match, his voice fits so well.

Oh yeah, I think you're right! It would have been cool if they had given him two different voices or something, but yeah, his voice does make more sense in that case :)
I love that this group gives off more “brockhampton” boyband vibes instead of like a traditional kpop boy band
It's cool that you picked up on that! GQ Korea did an "interview" with Heartsteel and when they talked about inspirations, Aphelios specifically mentions Brockhampton so I'm sure those who made this song were def inspired by them :)

Yesss, I love Aphelios! I remember learning about his lore and just felt like he represented a part of me :P and I like that we get to see another side of him through Heartsteel now 😄 I’m def getting the skin too!!

Yeah, I think a lot of people were expecting a k-pop boyband (myself included) but once I saw that I realized it would probably be a different vibe. And it turned out great! Thank you for watching 😊 I think they will do more with Heartsteel soon (performance, TFT content, etc) but I’m not sure if there will be more songs with that… hopefully one day!

This why i love league of legends games or music, this song is great yone & kayn on this MV so gorgeous with the costume and then the animated is amazing i love this song so much
This definitely still has some KPop elements but it feels like it leans more western Boy band, like NSYNC or backstreet boys. I appreciate that each vocalist has a different style, kayn being more rock/just darker, ezreal being more of a kpop icon, sett hitting that pop rap, and ksante feeling like someone like "the weekend"
Yeah I appreciate the unique style too! Some of their voices sounded different than I expected but once I got used to it, I enjoyed the song more :)
LOVE THE VIDEO LUC!!! i thought the song was pretty good! however, i kind wished the music video deviated a little more in the visual direction. kinda seemed like it took a page off of the Jinx-esque very bright colours flashing everywhere with lots of cuts and transitions, which i think isn't bad in itself but might be too similar to previous league themes (could be my jadedness from sticking with league for a while). but anyways nonetheless i think aphelios is slowly becoming my favorite out of the bunch as well!
Thank you for watching and for your comment! :D Yeah I can definitely see what you mean, it is reminiscent of the art styles they have used in the past. I feel like they didn't want to take a huge risk with the visual approach because in some ways the creation of the band itself is kind of a risk, in terms of how it would be received by the playerbase. I think they tried to find a balance with that, but yeah, totally get where you're coming from too! It'll be interesting to see if they innovate more with their live performance. Glad to hear Aphelios has grown on you haha
