    Even though this was a year ago, someone recommended your videos in a Cricut beginner group today. I am so happy they did. Thank you so much for making this understandable and taking the time to talk about other issues while it was sublimating!

    Updating to finish my statement "If it puts lines on your print." The first thing to do is to reset your ink levels. If it looks like you have plenty of ink, just reset the levels. This usually fixes lines and off colors. Subscribe, and I'll be adding more specific videos, such as ink levels and cleanings. Thank you for watching. Blessed

      It's 3 years of cutting these out by hand. I have two paper cutters, one with a slide and one with an arm, but it's more convenient to cut by hand for me. I'm lazy and don't want to get up from my chair. Lol

    • @shellistumblers
      @shellistumblers  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The only way I can usually find my seam is where the two sides meet up at the bottom. I have a hard time getting them the same exact length. One is usually a teensy bit longer than the other. That's how I find it on full wraps. LOL

    How do you keep the interior of the press free of spillage? Do you use parchment paper?

    • @shellistumblers
      @shellistumblers  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have never used any in 3 years and never have had spillage or what I call bleed? Sublimation ink only adheres to polyester. Sleeves are silicone.

      I apologize for the delay. I tried looking up the invoice for my press to no avail. I can't find it in my history search either. I bought it when they first came out with the 20oz presses. There is no information on the press itself either. I would recommend reading reviews and go with a press that has several good reviews.

      Does your 20 oz tumbler fit inside your press or does it hang over. Without wrapping any bleed paper around your cup doesn’t it get on your press

    • @shellistumblers
      @shellistumblers  ปีที่แล้ว

      My 20oz fits. I can also do 30 oz, but I prefer to make 20 oz. I have never used any bleed protective papers. I have not had even one issue without it. No discoloration inside of my press either. Thank you for watching.

    My bottoms come out great, the tops not so much. Do you have any suggestions? My press only has the one knob to adjust pressure.

    • @shellistumblers
      @shellistumblers  ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm sorry that you're struggling with the tops. Something you can try is putting a silicone band around the top and press your Tumbler top end only for about 45 seconds, turn it and press for about 20 seconds, take it out, tap off the band, and then press the Tumbler like I show in the video. I have never seen a press with only one adjuster. 🤔 That could be the problem, it's definitely a possibility. I apologize for the delay in responding. Please let me know if the band helps. I love feedback, the good and the bad. That is how we learn.

    What if you're using a convection oven? Would you still not tape top and bottom of tumbler?

    • @shellistumblers
      @shellistumblers  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great question, If you click on my name, it should take you to my channel. My first video was using a conversion oven with a masking tape wrap. I do, however, now wrap them like I do in this video, but I use about 6 silicone bands over the wrap. Be sure to subscribe to my channel, and I'll do a video with the bands next. I apologize for the delay in responding. Thank you for watching.

      Thank you for watching. You can burn off the image and then choose a darker design to sub over them. I'll do a video on that in the future. I first began my journey making Epoxy Glitter Tumblers, so that is what I do with them. They have kits on Amazon for beginners. I paint my "Flub Subs" and then glitter and Epoxy them. If neither are something that you would want to do, Facebook has a group called "Happy accidents". You can post them for sale. I don't know what they go for, but people who do Epoxy Tumblers or those who like to burn them and resub them will buy them from you. 🌞

    • @shellistumblers
      @shellistumblers  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have a video wrapping the paper with just masking tape. You could also do just as I have done here in this video, except add 6 silicone bands around your tumbler, making sure that one is flush with the top rim and one with the bottom rim. Either method works great.

    • @shellistumblers
      @shellistumblers  ปีที่แล้ว

      I do ovens at 370 for 5 to 6 minutes.

    • @slcraw4ord
      @slcraw4ord ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s what I do now is what you show in your other video. Wrap the whole cup in painters tape. I find painters tape holds a tad better than normal masking. I cook at 350-360 5-6 minutes. I do turn not sure it’s worth that extra step. I also plunge in cool water so I can remove tape without biting fingers. I’m going to try and not wrap SO TIGHT and see what I get. I always kill my hands wrapping.
      Thanks for the tips

    • @shellistumblers
      @shellistumblers  ปีที่แล้ว

      Make sure to not overlap the top or the bottom, and try wrapping them with your painters tape, but add the bands, even if just at the top and bottom? I prefer the bands with the air fryers and ovens. I would also increase your time a little too see if that helps?

    • @shellistumblers
      @shellistumblers  ปีที่แล้ว

      When I use my air fryer I do 400 degrees for 6 minutes, so it shouldn't hurt at all to increase your time.
