I made up this cocktail when I got a bottle of Amaro di Angostura and I think it turned out pretty good. 3/4 oz each of rye, ginger liqueur, Amaro di Angostura, and lemon juice with a couple dashes of Angostura bitters. Let me know what you think if you give it a try!
That sounds awesome! Especially if you have a spicy ginger liqueur with some bite! (some are too mellow :P)... I've had a few pot still gins that are extremely similar to genever... which does make sense, pot stills always give the spirits those earhier, grassier notes which genever has
My new fall bit is blaming Coach Vino for missing his videos, because the Glass half full podcast has me doing too much stuff and fulfilling my goals... My next goal will be to watch your video in a timely manner...
Although I'll have to go with Gin, I will add this one to the list! Always looking for another good use for the Ginger Liqueur (I tried King's and moved back to Dom. Canton). Some other Ginger Liqueur cocktails we enjoy: Mon Dernier Mot and the Gold Rush. Cheers, my Bronx Brother!
My brother from another! Those are two great ginger cocktails! Especially the Mon Dernier Mot (you know I love my Last Word riffs). Might need to revisit that soon. Cheers! ✌🏾
@@CoachVinoLLC Found I do in fact have a bottle of Genever, made by some interesting folks down in SoCal with a distillery called Boldt. It's barrel-aged so maybe it's time to open up this gift bottle!
What is your favorite cocktail that uses ginger syrup or ginger liqueur? 🫚

Agreed, the spicer the ginger liqueur (or syrup), the better and more complex the cocktail. Such a difference maker!
Ooooo this looks awesome courtney is going to love it
If she enjoys fall flavors, she'll definitely dig it!

I rather get zero YT views if it means helping one man be his best self. 🫡

I only have ginger syrup, but maybe I'll try to re-mix it.
I'm sure the syrup would rock too!
Greetings from Palm Coast, Florida Coach, this is one I'm gonna havta make! Apple and ginger 🫚 is a " GO " for this guy!
There's some beautiful stretch of beach out in Palm Coast. Safe travels, my brother. Cheers!
@@CoachVinoLLC I'll be back home in Oklahoma tomorrow morning!
Sometimes, I forget that I even have Maraschino on my back bar. I don't use enough ginger in my cocktails, I gotta change that.
Well this cocktail would kill two birds with one stone!
