Man, I've been building my coach that way since I found that way about 2 months ago. I do Tier 3 on everything besides the kicker, they stay at zero. It's the best way to do it in my eyes. It's all about recruiting . Also, only do 12 players at a time. That way, you can invest 75 to 80 hrs per player. Then you can continue to add more players as the season goes on. I've signed 17 5 stars and 10 4 stars in 1 class.
The thing that people underestimate is how important developing players is. It's great if you can bring in the top tier talent but it's even better when you can actually develop talent. Even when just keeping track of #1 QBs of each recruiting class I'm seeing players go to waste as they don't develop, and that's not purely due to not seeing the field. Building a coach in this game is great because everything comes with a sacrifice. People should experiment a lot more often, especially if they're just playing against the CPU. The Motivator/Architect route goes against what's meta because people focus so heavily on recruiting, yet it's worthwhile to take the time to build a program and develop your talent if you're willing to go long-term. To me, the only way to build your coach "wrong" is by coming in with no plan so you end up literally doing a little bit of everything.
I agree. I've found great success in online leagues and by myself by focusing on motiver and architect it allows me to not chase 5 stars because my 4 stars and 3 star gems are more likely to maximize their potential and many of them surpasd their original potential
Totally agree with this. If you're a good player and get to being a 4 or 5 star program, it is incredibly easy to outrecruit the CPU, even without major recruiting boosts. And depending on the other users in your league, you may not even be targeting the same guys. Once I'm past the first few years of real players, the biggest obstacle in getting players to full potential is level caps, so I like to hit Architect hard. Obviously, Motivator helps you get to those caps, too, and you can supplement with coordinators more easily there.
It’s not bad but if your team is more talented and you properly use the xp gains and offseason training your depth will be ridiculous compared to your competition.
For simulation purposes on videos like this, you can go to team schedule and force wins. I seen you said you had to play some games in a video or two ago, so hopefully this helps
Tweaks: Architect still the way to go.. this build u can easily bring in top talent but development is lacking.. Recruiting: base level 3 all positions besides kickers.. level 4 is 1x boost going from preseason to new season.. good if like CEO dream school.. take the points u save and go elite recruiter level 1.. everything beyond level 1 is great but only kicks once you hard sell or soft sell. Architect level 2 development Motivator level 3 development Coordinators: architect and your choice for 2nd (i would go master motivator to stack w HC and other coordinator architect)
Relationship builder is wasted at UGA, you only get one upgrade from the first two tiers (Alabama from lvl 4 to lvl 5). For the that skill tree you want a school that doesn't have a pipeline higher than gold (Notre Dame, Illinois, Pitt, Colorado, Kansas State, Syracuse, West Virginia , and Louisville some examples of bigger schools that fit).
@js world If you have a decent number of recruits that have you as their top school it is well worth it. If you have only a couple every year then I would say no. I have built coaches on multiple playthroughs and it makes a big difference in recruiting in my experience.
Insta commit is trash. You were first on all those lists and had offered scholarships but only 1 commited. I had a similar result on a build I did and picked insta commit. Waste of 50 points
Yeah I think its a hard pass. I've had it before and got 11commits in 1 preseason. After that it was 1 or 2 here or there. Not really needed if you're good at recruiting.
Man wrong. Some seasons they def bogart but avg year I get 10 4 stars. Bad year I get 4 and and couple 3. That still saves me some time recruiting. It's an automatic buy for me. Just because one season they jipp ya don't mean it's always that way

I can get top 25 classes without any recruiting boost. Architect makes 3 star gems 5 star players especially Punters and kickers

☝This is the correct build.
Could u post a pick of the coach on your channel?
They need to start factoring in weather or not your a defending champion 🏆 in recruiting
They do implicitly through Coach Prestige, Championship Contender and Program Tradition
Should do different defensive schemes and ideal player tendencies for each position within that specific scheme.
Great idea, I may do it tomorrow
This is a great idea, let's get out of the box.

That’s nuts!!! I’m definitely going to try this build do you recommend a power 4 conference team?
I would recommend power 4 because they likely will have better pipelines
How many years did you sim to get your coach to a maxed out level like that. I get a great school offer after year two and get tempted on jobs 😂
Like 6 or 7? It took a little minute lol
Kicker and punter upgrades are not needed. Their are way better things to spend points on.
You don't spend any points on scouting the players?
Normally I would, I didn’t here because I just was focusing on signing 5 stars

It’s like hit or miss. One season I’ll have 8, next season only get like 2

@@xxthekingfish Definitely rather have it then not have it
