    • @sanb3586
      @sanb3586 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No matter how big is your battery is it will provide only amount of current the device need* and he is saying this because all other people are using lipo battery without any protection or proper voltage regulator and you can use battery directly in EMERGENCY coz batteries drop voltage while using and device components well get heat up if there is insufficient voltage so its better to use regulator and booster 👍🙏

    • @meneleyr
      @meneleyr 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@boymichael10 I would suppose it would put unnecessary wear on the battery. You have electricity, you should use that directly, not through the battery as an intermediary.

    At what voltage will the battery stop charging? My concern is that the voltage drop across the bridge rectifier will mean that the battery will never get the full 15V, hence the ups that is calibrated to stop charging at 15V will not stop trying to charge it?

    Hello Mr Usman, I finally received all the parts including the 15vac transformer. Like someone else noted, I had to use only one 9.1 zener at D5 for K2 to switch. The circuit runs fine in the normal power mode. However, several minutes after removing the AC and running on the battery, K1 relay starts clicking or chirping and the charging LED blinks, the 555 timer starts getting hot. Any thoughts what might be wrong?

    Is it feasible to power about 100w of devices (server, WiFi, etc)
    off a 12 volt to 240 volt inverter;
    powered by a 12 volt battery
    that is kept under constant charge via a 240 volt battery charger?
    I'm thinking , as a UPS, it should 'work' but (putting aside efficiency ) maybe there are some longer term issues?

    Considering that the power-supply can simultaneously charge the battery and provide sufficient power for the load, you can connect the load directly to the battery and design the charger to adjust current based on the requirement. This way you can avoid those relays and the supply to the load will be smooth.

      I agree with the other person commenting as well. We should not use battery 100% of the time, only when needed. A nice special feature would be to drain the battery about once a month to keep the battery healthy. However, knowing my luck, the power would go off once a month while draining the battery lol

      I was having this issue too (USP trim pot never turning off the LED), but have discovered the problem was due to a batch of NE555P. Now replaced with a chip taken from another source it works. Using a 50k trimpot won't be the problem, I think, though may be wrong.

    Hello, am trying to use the 12V 7AH battery (in UPS) and router wall adapter as inputs; both of them controlled via 2 12V Relays for switching the input for powering the router. There is a capacitor to handle the voltage drop during relay switching.
    The problem is that the battery is showing a voltage higher than adapter (sometimes 13.3V); the output of adapter remains between 12.2 - 12.4V.
    Is it safe to use the output voltage of battery to router or should I use a 7812 voltage regulator in output?

      You can use xl4015 circuit to adjust the outpust voltage and the current from the ups batter as like your adapter then simultaneously you can charge your battery with your ups bode and also you can use the 230v inverter and the battery connected with the above circuit which I have mentioned and connected to the modem .
      Only you can do to unbox your ups and make a dc connection from your battery with out removing ups boad connection and close your ups and connect xl4015 circuit and make adjustment as per the requirement modem with screw driver and multi meter and switch on

    please make a same type of circuit for running a laptop which doesn't have battery. Before of this type of circuit only need a booster circuit which will produce 19v from 12v high Ah battery.
