Even if you don't own one of these machines, that is me, the maintenance you performed is useful to see for any vehicle owner. I do regularly check my vehicle fluids and put my vehicle in for a service each 10,000 kms.
Very good point!! I respect my vehicles because I worked hard to pay for them. Nothing worse that seeing someone that neglects equipment - Its an insight to their mindset in general 🤔
Nice ol' machine there Michael. Nothing wrong with older rigs. My pick-up is 32 years old, my Tahoe is 21 years old. My murdersickle is 23 years old. It's nice not having payments. It's nice having affordable insurance. It's nice that occasional repair bills off-set the monthly anchor around the neck of payments. I'm with you 100%, locked rear and lockable front, with hi/lo range, is a HUGE benefit, add the saving grace of a winch, and life is good.
Good series,I had a 1998 Kawasaki similar to yours it was a great machine. Now because of you I have a Honda (rancher not pioneer lol) and of course a Jeep. Lol. I have always enjoyed your channel and look forward to this series continuing. Joe
I am very happy with it gas mileage is excellent and it loves mud! Lol but of a change from my 2008 Ram but we’re having a blast with it thanks for asking!
Looks like a good complement to the Jeep for a little lighter excursion into different areas. I must say that those packs you added are very well thought out even with the rain covers included. Looking forward to seeing the new adventures! Take care
With the seat cushion in the upright position, that’s definitely going to make a great cubby hole for Esme to stay out of the cold air this winter. ✌️🇺🇸🇨🇦
Thanks, great idea for a series and you will share your wealth of experience. I’ve stayed away from belt drive units because I’m a bit old school…they seem to fine under most conditions. It’s not bad Idea to take your air gun and blow out the clutch even if you don’t see a lot of dirt and dust. Are you using an ATV to get you further back woods than the Can-Am would do? Another lesson from you that would be valuable would on changing steel winch cable to rope and the advantages. Keep doing what you do!
Hey Norm - Totally understand about the belt and having owned a Honda Pioneer 500, it was one of the things I liked! Thanks for the tip on blowing out the clutch - Next time I'll do that for sure! 👍 The ATV purchase for to try and introduce more people to ATV camping who have a limited budget or already own an ATV and would like to try it. I have a video I'm editing now on winch cable changes coming up very soon! You read my mind 😄
That’s a nice quad , looks in great shape. I had the exact same machine for a while. Unbelievable how much punishment that thing would take. I have the the same Cabelas rear seat combo on my Honda. Not sure I love it but it is functional.
Hi Michael, nice machine although, I am not a Kawasaki guy. I own 2 Polaris 6 wheelers that are the best for traveling and camping. The dump box gives you a lot of room to carry stuff and you can also add tracks to the rear wheels. Looking forward to an atv camping trip.
looks like you n esme are ready to roll on the kawi....have a great time, be safe!
Fingers crossed! 😄
Nice setup - ATV camping is a blast!!!!
It really is!
Awesome setup looking forward to seeing you out there with it 👍👍👍
You and me both!
Been waiting for this series!!! After this series is finished please do full overnight camping trips with the quad and dogs
The series will be based around actual camping, with tips thrown in. I think that will make it more interesting!
@@TheEmporiumOutdoors sounds good!
Nice video, can’t wait to see the next one!

I'm glad you're gonna start doing some more quad and UTV stuff this is great this is great as this is the kind of camping I love the best
Thanks Daniel!
What a fun looking toy. You could fit Esme in that front bag lol. That machine looks to be in great shape! Nice find Michael
Thanks 👍 Simon fits in the sider pouch too 😄

Nice setup! I went with the Pioneer 520 in moose brown(it goes faster 😂). Have really enjoyed it so far but I'm not in snow being in So. Ga. USA.
You will love the Pioneer 520! I loved my little 500 and I still miss it 😥
Good looking setup , have a great day, God bless !
Thanks, you too!

Ohh nice - this is my first Kawasaki and I'm impressed with the build quality (like Honda 😄) - How do you like the Jeep?

Great video and gear. I'm looking forward to the series of videos. Curious will you be adding a mirror to keep an eye on esmey.
Hey Mark - Good idea 🤔

Yes I bet - I've seen some of your other machines and yes, you are hard on equipment 😆
Nice set up
Thanks so much!

Neat machine. Michael. What was the official results of the Esme and Simon sniff test? Ha Ha. Stay safe on that machine.
They both love it - Especially Esme now she has had time to adjust 😄
