It is a satisfactory rendition of the dance based on the song "Piya tose naina lage." Apart from Wahida Ji superb performance in the movie, Guide (1965), we should not forget the creators of the dance originally were: B. Sohanlal, and Hiralal. B. Keep it up.
I have never seen dance someone so beautifully on this song...to dance so well on a complete, lengthy song without any music mixing is a big deal. It was lovely watching you. Thank you :)

Actually, I was not a big fan of Kathak but after watching Mrinalini's performance today at CP, I am in love with Kathak. I still don't know if it's Kathak music or Mrinalini that got me : )

I recommend that everyone should see both English version and Indian version of the movie GUIDE. Indian version makes Raju the greatest character human being on the surface of the earth(and that is the brilliance of movie director & script writer Vijay Anand).The English version of the movie was the Script written by Pearl S Buck (Nobel Prize Winner) & Portrays Raju the biggest Con artist. People in the West are wired different by THE ALMIGHTY. "EAST IS EAST & WEST IS WEST & NEVER THE TWAIN SHALL MEET "--is 100 year old quote from an English philosopher.
Since I'm a huge fan of Waheeda Rehman herself, I started watching this video with a rather critical mindset, doubting whether it would leave any impression at all. However I am simply mesmerized. She is stunning in her dance and this is beautifully choreographed.
I wish I could dance like that. I love this song, and I always spinned around since I was a little girl on it. But this, I really wish I could do as well as her!
