Individual remix tracks used to be seamless and between 7 and 11 minutes. As EDM took over the tracks got shorter. It seems the record companies used to release about 5 or 6 versions by different remixes. One was always a short radio edit. It seems younger people had shorter attention spans.

@EliRivera-ph1fh also a 3 minute song can be streamed more often in a span of 10 minutes than a 5 minute song. This whole thing changed the industry
