I grew up in Cape Breton Brandon! But these courses weren't built yet when I moved to Calgary in 1999. Top course at the time was the Cape Breton Highlands Links.. which is still rated really high! Definitely need to get back home and play Cabot one of these years! My Uncle has played both Cabot courses and his words to me were "I can't even put it into words Ryan, you just need to experience it!"
Great Video man!! Love the Shots of the views! I’ll have to play that course one day.. Good on ya!
Thank you! 🙏 Yes definitely a must play. 🍻
Great shots and views of the course. Representative of the dramatic Cape Breton landscape. Wonderful video, even for a non-golfer like me!
I think this is a brilliant video. Just such high quality to show case a golf course. I need to get out there. What a video, from lighting to music to slow mo amazing
Thank you! Appreciate it. 🙏
Phenomenal video production on this one 🔥
Thank you 🙏🏻
This new sock trend is killing me.
i thought the exact same thing..... i don't understand it
Stand firm brother. Do not let them convert you to their heathenistic ways.
Low socks for life.
Agreed
I cannot believe the price. Wowzers. If you enjoyed it then its worth it for you.
that's Canadian dollars and only for people not staying at resort. If you "stay and play" then depending on season its $150 - $320 range (thats US dollars) - not so crazy
Great video, I played last summer and hands down the best golf ever. Enjoyed it more than Scotland tour. Lucked out had sunny day and it was epic. Put it on the bucket list!
Wow man. Wild. Definitely will keep it in the bucket list
100% worthy checking out!
Planning to go there in september. Absolute bucket list course
What an amazing and scenic place. 👍
It’s hard to beat!
Very cool! I live in Moncton so a few hours away. It’s been on my must play list for a while. Fox Harbour is also another very nice course on the coast in NS too. It was built by the guy who owned Tim Hortons
I was able to play Fox Harb’r when I was down there. Another great property! Love that back 9
@@NewNineGolf nice! northumberland links next door to Fox Harbour is good too. I’m actually playing there in a week
Played Fox Harb'r for the Team Titleist GT launch event last week!! Fabulous track, and resort, top notch.
Just played in june and went twilight and it was fantastic
i want to play that course as well as banff springs
Played it last summer and it poured from start to finish. Still loved every minute of it lol
Hopefully you can play it again in better weather! We got very lucky
saw you at Andersons Creek, hope the round went well!
Didn’t play great that day. You should have said hi!
Playing tmr and the next both courses my grandfather works there as a caddie actually what did u end up shooting??
I was 78 link and 73 cliffs
Why does everything look cooler in slow motion?
Awesome review as always!
Visiting Calgary/Banff from Ohio in August - what is the best golf experience in the area for tourists?
Silvertip and Stewart Creek in Canmore are must plays.
Banff Springs
Kananaskis Mt Kidd and Lorette
Mickelson National is allowing the public until the end of the year as well.
@@NewNineGolfAppreciate the recommendations. Now just need to talk my wife in playing more than 1 day….
@CrisHansen-ig5wv lots of spas for her to enjoy while you golf lol. Banff Springs spa, Nordic Spa, Kananaskis Spa lol
@@NewNineGolf touché 😂🤔🤪
Great quality video, love it. Just a bit too much talking and repetitive slow-mo scenes. More non slow-mo shots from the tee/fairway/rough/bunker/green would be nice as opposed to the pro shop.
Totally get where you’re coming from. I uploaded every shot I hit at both courses on Instagram. These will be more your speed - instagram.com/reel/C9XdoUXuT02/?igsh=MXJyM2ppa3B3NjNwOQ==
Do they provide complimentary balls for the driving range
Yes
in my experiance for what it is fox harbour half the price same experencie or even better,
trackman on the range with rangeball ( that always gonna jump the spin and the ball flight next to useless) other then working on fone tune
I got to play Fox Harb’r during this trip and absolutely loved it! They are building 2 new 9’s. Can’t wait to see those when they are done.
played both a week ago, and it's been too long since I was there 😞
I’ve been dreaming about it since too
Where did you play in PEI boss?
Eagles Glenn, Anderson Creek and Country View this go around
@@NewNineGolf Epic, hope you had some fun
Nice socks Skippy
Any mat would be better then your used to in calgary ffs. Worst warm up areas and driving ranges i ever seen all over calgary ,, the courses are not that great either
Lol we ain’t playing the same Calgary courses if that’s the case
@@NewNineGolf which ones r u playing then?
@CanadianBiPolarBear I’m a member at Country Hills. Which courses are you referring to?
@@NewNineGolf havent played country hills yet , i play hamptons , bearspaw , mickelson , winston , redwood , wintergreen , innisfail ( out of town) . With the acception of redwood from the tips , calgary courses are gimicky ....the courses i play are the few i can stomach to that i found around here .....hope you played highland links while you were in cape breton, hope you played cavendish when you were in pei
