- They let me loose at the Seattle TimeWorks store. A new watch store staffed by watch enthusiasts. So I challenged my AD to a contest to see who can build a better 4-watch collection.

A great dual but I have to say the store guy crushed it. So great to see someone selling watches who actually knows his stuff. Nice :)

Most watch places I would feel uncomfortable going to because of my appearance but I feel like I would be right at home in this place
I’d have to say the sale person crushed it. I’d love to have a store like this in my area. Great duel in a 4 watch budget.

I was there in May and I can say the staff were watch people. I wore a vintage Omega watch and it was a pleasure discussing a wide range of watches.
Gabe definitely won, but im shocked there was not a single rotating bezel on either collection.
Any watch video Kevin is in, it exudes snobbery. Gives the watch community a bad reputation. Thats why i really enjoy your content. No snobbery at all, just love for watches. Keep it up my man. Created an account on WC a couple months ago and i absolutely love the app. Ive learned so much. Keep going!

I agree, I would have to pick the store guy's collection 1)IWC Mark XX 2) Grand Seiko SBGE285 3) Casio Mudmaster and 4) Longines Flagship. Btw- I learned something in this video. It appears the IWC Mark XX (green dial) is now available at ADs (versus a boutique item only). This must have just happened.
Literally just happened a few weeks ago. Let's hope the Ingenuir (sp) does the same

Great video Max. This Shop is 5 minutes from my house which is trouble. I almost left there 2 weeks ago with the Longines GMT and the GS SBGA413 Four seasons Spring Dial in pink. You're right, the entire staff are huge watch nerds. Love that place. Great video. Also, saw one of your coworkers M. Preston about 6 months ago. Great guy but not a watch geek like us.

Bought my first G-Shock at this store. Great experience but it's dangerous having such a nicely stocked AD so close-by!
Love this. My home store! I've been here a half dozen times or so. Have my eye on the Oris Big Crown Roberto Clemente edition. The SBGM221 + the Speedy for just above 10k is such a KILLER 1-2 watch combo. Personally I give this face-off to Max.

Great selections by both! I'd go with Hamilton 38 Murph: $870, Omega Seamaster 300 Heritage: $6,700, Grand Seiko SBGY011: $8,100, and Longines Spirit: $3,050
I would swap the murph for an oris pointer date but that was pretty much my list
Whoever got the Grand Seiko GMT was going to win. That watch is special.
Finally a watch shop I could go to. University place is tough though with the crime nowadays. Most of the time when you go to malls your selection's pretty limited

I've got to find a place like this - watches and no jewelry. That would be SOOO refreshing!
The store worker won for sure. The red Casio wtf - fashion nightmare. The Grand Seiko dress piece has a ghastly maroon strap and just looks bad. The Hamilton has a ghastly greenish fungus color and the speedmaster with its sunken hand-wound crown is completely unusable from a practical standpoint. Chad store worker vs virgin WatchCrunch
I think having something out of left field makes it more interesting. If everybody's collećtions are just mute and conventional it's gonna be fairly boring. If I see someone has a speedmaster or Rolex sub, I wouldn't look twice because that's always the safest choice.
I'm gonna go with Watch Crunch option. That Omega White dial pops and had my eye at my AD. I can't buy anything for a while though. Just bought a Vacheron Constantin and Rolex Datejust 41 Mother of Pearl before Rolex quietly took it off the website.

Fun video! I'd really like to see some close ups and wrist shots of the IWC Mark XX silver dial, the one they're calling the 75th anniversary. Everywhere seems to have the same PR photos.
The Longines Flagship Heritage is a really solid watch. I had one, sold it, sometimes regret selling it. The lugs on it are just weird though.
Didn't know IWC had launched the Mark XX in green. It's breathtaking.

Both great efforts, but I am a sucker for dive watches. While the Gshocks will get’er done, they lack the satisfying click of the unidirectional bezel. So, my vote is that you have to do it again!

Im pretty new to watches but i have 4 as of now and looking for my 5th 1-tissot prx with custom dial 2- seiko presage with a blue dial 3 zelos starfighter chronograph with aventurine dial 4- baltic MR01 salmon dial. And I'm looking to get a green omega seamaster with a rubber strap to finish off the collection. :)
