Not top countries like Spain, but decent European countries like Turkey, Belgium, Norway, Malta and so on. We never carried on with football as a profession but we participated in futsal leagues and played 11 aside friendlies regularly. I'm convinced that a team I could have formed at our peak fitness (we are all almost 40 now), would have been better than Mongolia, and maybe similar to Vanuatu level. Mongolia's problem is possession and construction - they are unable to make possession meaningful by constructing play. This means they have to lay low and play a defensive game with hopes of a counter attack or set piece action. Vanuatu were able to construct play better and able to create some spaces, they lack quality overall but are more cohesive and in fact created much more chances. However, I do not see any of the players on the pitch as true professionals (by European standards) - they are good players, but there are many good players, even hobby players who can play at similar level.
