It has indeed been a crazy decade for this game.... My first time ever playing it was back in 2013, very first thing I did in the game was try and break the speed limits of unity :)

the thing that creates energy from burning fuel is called "alternator" in my game, idk if it's a mod that renamed it or if that's the game's internal name for it
That's the engineering term for such a device. Every car has one. Basically an alternator is an electromagnet where it's core is spun by the belt drive of the car. You rev the engine, it turns the alternator, the mechanical energy is turned into electric energy.
@@ShadowZone but where's the alternator in a rocket engine and even if it's a hidden wheel, wouldn't it cause a loss in thrust compared to just not having one?
I had this video open in a tab basically as soon as it was released and I've only just finished it. I know you said this is your final mission but maybe go in cherry pick some of your old pieces of hardware left lying around the stars? Put together a museum or something? We are all thinking it KSP 2 is in a much rougher state than many expected on launch :(
Thanks for taking the time to watch this series! Yeah, I was probably too optimistic about KSP2. I did manage to pull off a Jool-5 despite the state the game is in. Still struggling with Eve return though. The museum sounds like a neat idea, thanks for the suggestion!

I feel I should specify but instead of just walking round some of your greatest hits you should go and fetch them from the four corners of the system, basically a clean up. Did you send any scientific probes on a one midway mission? Or do you have anything that escape the system and you may need to go and collect?
Yo shadowzone did you see the recommended specs for ksp2? I’m not surprised at all based on how poorly the game seems to be running in their promotional material. Looks like it’s gonna be a rough early access
