NEPA native here. Impressively evocative of the area in such a small scale, especially the rock formations and the town. Gives me a Mahanoy City /Ashland / Shamokin sort of vibe. Just needs a giant coal breaker and it'll be just like home!
Love the videos Dave, I was wondering if you were gonna show a direct overhead of any of your layouts so a newer hobbist might be able to replicate the track layout for their own display? As some one who splits his time between the North Eastern Penn- North Western NewYork area, and the Savannah Georgia area I love seeing Penn state displays.
Love the video! You gave me inspiration. Have have purchased a large amount of T-guage trains , just do have the drive to really put it all together. your have beautiful skill in scenary,. How do you make your trees? please make a video on trees. Thank you, and have a Blessed Christmas.
Thanks for watching and thanks for the nice comment! The trees are made from JTT brand scenery products trees. They are sold as HO gauge trees, and I just cut off branches which are the correct size for a T Gauge tree. Check out my U.K. layout (part 2) video and at 3:00 into the video I show how the trees are made. Again, thanks for watching and good luck with your T Gauge trains! Sometimes getting started is the hardest part.
Hey Dave, huge fan of all your layouts and Jazz’s and now Mathew’s videography! (Although Mathew started off roughly with that vertical business haha!) Just a query though, what has become of the UK layout? I know I can’t be the only one patiently waiting for the final product! Also would enjoy a horizontal maybe slower more through go of the Z scale layout, something like the second Bavaria video! Thanks again Byers gang! You all are great!
Hi, Dave. In the Penna. Mountains, where I grew up, the dirt taken off top to strip mine was a SPOIL PILE. This was usually a good place to pick blackberries and you could always find some artifacts in the shale.
Wow! Your layouts are the best I've ever seen in T guage.
Thank you!
Looks very good. Thank you for sharing your work and the card stock site.
Thank you for the nice comment!

I love the tiny details in this layout! I wish T gauge tracks looked better!
Thank you for the nice comment! I’m going to try something to take the shine off the rail joiners before the next video.
Formula 1 train speeds as seen on most T Gauge layouts. But a very nice and well built layout.
Thanks for the nice comment! I’ll have to work on slowing the trains.
Looks like Ford City!!? Lol. Awesome
Thank you for the nice comment!
amazing & well done 👍🍀💯
Thank you!

Thank you! I do have videos almost ready for release that have overhead views of this layout and also my T Gauge U.K. Layout - should be fairly soon.

What they called the discard from mines was Slag
Nice Work
Thanks for watching! In my area (southwestern Pennsylvania) it is called a spoil pile or a gob pile from mining and slag refers to steel mill waste.
