Two videos in one day, you're spoiling us! Do you book campsites ahead in England and Wales or just turn up?

I never book a campsite in advance, because I don't know where I will end up one day. Sometimes I come across things along the way that I want to see that require so much time that I would not achieve my goal.
There are also days when my head is not ready to ride and then I stay at a campsite for an extra day.
Also, the weather can be so bad, like today, that I don't feel like going for a ride (and then I can use the time to edit videos).
The fact that there is sometimes no room at a campsite is a risk that I take for granted.

I have been to the UK before and the weather was considerably better than this year. If the weather were always like this, I would feel sorry for the residents...
