It was over a year ago, so can't be 100 percent certain, but think we put together a 'build your own experience' package, so that we could mix up pistols, SMGs, assault rifles and heavier weapons without being constrained to just one type. The .50 cal sniper rifle was itself a bonus add on. Not cheap, but worth the experience of firing one. Hell of a kick!
