I’ve always thought Mac/fox was a decent matchup for Mac. Fox cant edge guard and rarely goes offstage, and both characters neutral is mostly scrapping, something Mac usually benefits from.

He often countered off stage anticipating a nair or something. Problem is, if it doesn’t work, fox just gave little Mac the stage and that’s not a great idea.
Counter stall mix up usually saves Mac from the "one aerial to win them all" strat. Watch Peanut vs PKBeats, even if it lands Mac can make it from the blast zone without haymaker. As long as Mac has a DJ still it's not guaranteed
When peanut beat Dexter a few rounds before the commentators talked about how it was his first pr win in a couple months, Dexter is 6 on MDVA. ZD is rank 4, this is huge for him
