Thank you so much cuz I've had one of these phones from months now and that I bought off of someone used and they refused to give me that code or email and I thought I was hard resetting but it kept just updating all day and all night till I would turn it back on again this work and I appreciate it so much

You need to open the back cover and shorten a couple of spots in order to truly hard reset it

i don't think this would help me bypass red lock sent by ai from either Samsung or us cellular for restriction because of non- activation of new galaxy a02 tbh and i did put old sim from old Motorola i have but is dead in new Samsung galaxy a02 after using refill to reactive my old cell number idk i tried going to the source but nothing according us cellular can do and my phone has been held hostage with this unknown pin lock since for the last 3 days tbh.
