@@nikolazekic549 I did some research and it seems that Boult recorded this piece of Elgar (whom he knew personally) four times - in 1936, 1953, 1961 and 1970. Thanks to you, we can now listen to his earliest version! He was clearly one of the greatest Elgar conductors.
@@pianopera He truly was! I knew of his earliest (this one) and latest recording, I shall have to listen to the two others. I wonder how I managed not to see them, when scouring the discography at elgarsociety.org, in search of the date when the discs in my possession were recorded. I am glad I could put this recording before the public. To be honest, I am quite surprised that noone did, until now.

@@bvolarevic Poštovani, Koristim Audio Technica ATLP120 gramofon, povezan preko USB kabla sa računarom. Za snimanje koristim Audacity. Igla je specijalna za ploče sa širom brazdom, kupio sam je u istoj radnji gdje i gramofon. Za uklanjanje klikova koristim Click repair, a onda stvar još malo dotjeram u Audacity ili Goldwave, kako kad. Srdačan pozdrav! Mnogi svoje načine digitalizacije drže kao tajnu, kao da su, zaboga, cio proces oni sami izmislili, ali ja ne vidim zašto bih to radio. Što više ljudi koji se za ove stvari zanimaju, to bolje, barem po mom mišljenju.
Nice and clear. Also, I do like the residual noise, reminds me of good tube amplifiers.
I feel that I would have destroyed the recording, had I removed all the noise...
