We stayed at Minster Mill Spa Hotel, just outside Chipping Norton. Such a perfect hotel, lovely sized room with gorgeous views, the most perfect river side terrace for lunch, dinner and bar snacks. Super quiet and secluded.
The Swan Inn for dinner - very cosy traditional vibes, good food, a lovely outside area
Diddly Squat Farm Shop - get there at opening time around 9am, expect to wait for around 2-3hrs to get into the farm shop.
Bouton-on-the-water - lovely little village town with traditional ice cream shops, tea rooms, old sweet stores and lots of cute pubs.
Daylesford Farm for lunch. Pizza and salads are served in the outside area and delicious risotto more of a lunch menu in The Trough restaurant inside. A bit of shopping in the farm shop as well as the garden and home section. Bamford spa offers pilates, yoga and many spa treatments.
Cotswold wildlife & animal park - So much fun for a couple of hours, you can see a lot of animals and pet goats, there is a restaurant but more of a school canteen, recommend bringing a picnic or eating before or after. £32 for two adult tickets when you book online.
Oxford city centre - Sticks and Sushi on the rooftop of the Westgate mall was delicious, perfect little outside seating area, we booked a table and glad we did as it got quite busy with walk ins.
Other places that were on our list that we didn’t get to go to.
- The Wild Rabbit & The Poet in Kingham, gorgeous outside seating areas
- Victors rooftop restaurant in the Westgate mall, which is just next to S&S but it was fully booked, so suggest booking in advance. It’s a super dressy vibe there, lots of girls wearing high heels and dresses, they also served sushi too.
- A gorgeous courtyard restaurant in Oxford city, The Quod in The Old Bank hotel, looked beautiful perfect menu for a coffee, long lunch or date night.
