My first experience with anacondas was a baby green, super chill, happy to just sit in my hand, then slowly creeping up my arm, she just rolled her face to the side, all slow like, then clamped down on my forearm like a fat guy on a burrito, no aggression, no speed, just slow, deliberate, and powerful. Bled for like 10 minutes. No rhyme or reason to it, nothing was provoking her, and one minute shes super chill, next minute she's hungry for my forearm. I made a very wise decision that day, I bought the burmese python and not the anaconda! 18 years later, that burm is still with me, big, fat, happy male, 11-12 feet, over 100 pounds, and only ever bit one person. It was a warning strike cuz my room mate burst into the room to literally try to scare him, and turns out, the snake scared him instead. If ever there was a justified reason to bite, I'd dare say he earned that one!! Great vid, keep up the awesome work!!

Daniell Perez there really isn’t much to most bites. They are like getting poked by needles. Their teeth aren’t for slashing and tearing like a dog or cat bite. It’s just sharp pointy needles for holding stuff.

cold water/ice - constrict blood vessels stopping bleeding
vaseline - to cover the open wound preventing bleeding/infection
compress the bite - tying a bandage or pressing down with a wet towel to create pressure also stopping bleeding & swelling
non stick gauze pad or tegaderm dressing - to cover the wound preventing infection
elevation - by elevating the area of bite higher than your heart it reduces the bleeding

Daniell Perez there really isn’t much to most bites. They are like getting poked by needles. Their teeth aren’t for slashing and tearing like a dog or cat bite. It’s just sharp pointy needles for holding stuff.
