Ketu (Sanskrit: केतु, IAST: Ketú) ( ) is the descending lunar node. 'Ketu' is said to be the body of Rahu, after the head of the asura was cut off by God Vishnu. In Hindu mythology, Ketu is generally referred to as a "shadow" planet. It is believed to have a tremendous impact on human lives and also the whole creation. In some special circumstances it helps someone achieve the zenith of fame. Ketu is often depicted with a gem or star on his head signifying a mystery light.
Astronomically, Ketu and Rahu denote the points of intersection of the paths of the Sun and the Moon as they move on the celestial sphere. Therefore, Rahu and Ketu are respectively called the north and the south lunar nodes. The fact that eclipses occur when the Sun and the Moon are at one of these points gives rise to the myth of the swallowing of the Sun and the Moon by the demon snake.
Maybe sun and ketu conjunction is the best conjunction. Ketu diminishes the ego produced by the sun and creates the drive to self improvement by self criticism. This makes the person to achieve all kinds of success in a humble manner.

I so much needed to hear this. I have this conjunction, with Jupiter, in my second house ... and I struggle a lot with confidence to go out and get better jobs, even though I've proven to myself time and time again that I actually excel under pressure. I'm always afraid and worried that I'll disappoint. Little to no direction as to where I am best to earn income, which damages the ego even more. I feel better hearing this and, at 32 years old, hopefully this will get easier within the next several years. Thank you :)

I have a friend with this combination, in High School we used to call him "the Invisible Man" haha. He was so shy we would often forget about his presence. He is still somewhat diffident but a very kind and hospitable guy. He took computer studies and is really good at it. He has Sun, Venus and Ketu in LIbra. He also told me about a dream in which he chopped off heads of some famous rapers (sic!). Maybe just a coincidence there but...

On a positive note, my sun and ketu are within 2 degrees. I am perfectionistic. I am highly critical of myself....but this usually compels me to do things very well. I feel no need to compete with others because my standards are higher anyway. How it holds me back, though, is that I tend to procrastinate when I haven’t started working early enough to do something well. Then it’s a vicious cycle of guilt and further procrastination until I snap into action. In the end, I still pull off great feats.....but after sacrificing sleep, eating and self care in order to finish on time and do an excellent job. In that sense, I am very hard on my physicaI body. I can also be really rude when others need my time and distract me from reaching my deadline/goal. Self- confidence depends the activity. I am usually very confident, though humble about it.

I turn to spirituality and prayer if I have any problem and god does it make me feel so much better. Closes conjunct of Ketu is Venus (

What you say does not match my experience with a person having Sagittarius Sun Ketu conjunction in the 6th house. There is a lot of self-righteousness there and a lot of criticism of the others, no introversion or shyness though.

well there are certain factors to be considered here,
first of all my sun is at 25 degrees and ketu at 9 degrees, ketu and rahu are in retro position by nature, so this means that ketu has alrrady passed sun, so no solar eclipse, this was exoplained by Kapiel as well in one oh his videos as well.
Secondly, saturn 10th aspect on this conjuction, so debilitated saturn, so thus means delay, so very slow effect of this conjuction, then

So technically i have uranus+sun conjuction and ketu+neptune,

Well you need to take care of the degrees, they are very important because, sometime rahu and ketu have already passed the Sun and Moon, and we just get afraid of this thing without any reason and also do consider Uranus, neptune and pluto, because pluto of mine is in 4th house scorpio giving 3rd aspect to sun, uranus, ketu, neptune and i'm really feeling the effects of it.

The ruler of my 10th is in the 5th, which is Sun. It's with Ketu and Saturn, and is also in the sign of Pisces. I really want to find my place in life and to make something of myself, but i always feel behind and at my worst i loathe myself when im not where or who i think i should be. Im not shy but i definitely dont put myself out there especially as i get older. I worry a lot and deal with depression/anxiety often due to this. People know me as someone with a lot of potential and knowledge but lack consistency. I want to be a successful daytrader as that along with astrology are the only things that make sense to me and provide the flexibility to my and my loved ones lives, but i have immense pressure to be great at it too because i dont want to be seen as someone who is a lost cause, lost to time. I often think if i dont make it (in the way i imagine to) ill be left wasted.

I dont think that mere placing of sun and ketu in the same house amounts to an eclipse. It depends on the degrees of both of them for ex in my case! I have sun and ketu in 9th house...ketu at 0 degrees and sun at 29 degrees! So they are extremely far off from each other to make an eclipse! What do you want to say on this?????
Similar to the previous comment, there is definitely not a lacking of identity. I would say that would be unlikely. The engine analogy works well though for the reasons why it is a challenge to fulfil your opposite sun sign. Many environmemtal factors can affect this too though. x

Hmmm, this doesn't seem to it my Sun and Ketu in Sagg, as I've low key always been the class clown, jokester, first to volunteer to read something out loud in school, and when I realized the truth of religion, I had no problem telling anyone why...it wasn't until I started censoring myself lost all confidence and pretty much went on a 2 year spiritual journey...only to lead me back to the truth I knew as a kid. Completely lost faith in God, as in the complete perfect loving God who I'm supposed to use as an infinite source of spiritual source and end up getting absorbed into. Suddenly felt a gravitation towards science, mathematics and astronomy and realised so many things are somewhat similar to vedic cosmology and also got interested in orphism and their idea of a cosmic egg. It's like an athiestic view of the universe which is weird as I do believe in god but it got diluted by the logic of the gods itself as destruction, dissolution and regeneration and absolute self motivated creation can only be part of the divine experience and it made me wonder if we're just cells of a giant who's still developing inside it's egg destined to hatch making our existence unlike ever before. It is interesting that all female cosmic deities in ancient Greek religion are weaver and spinners(including some indian ones, tantra comes from 'tan' thread) and the universe is estimated to look like a giant web. My ketu and Rahu are in each other's nakshatra making my destiny according to some astrologer to reach "singularity" aka black hole. It must be crazy coming into existence to see a massive ever expanding universe under your control but having no clue what to do as the cosmic ocean crashes and burns like a storm over ocean. The consciousness we have is truly. Another dimension. I wish brahma wouldn't have violated saraswati then who knows what his 5th head could have allowed in our dimension. Maybe another universe has another brahma that facilitates it's humans to understand the universe completely with its origins n all. It doesn't truly change much in terms of principals that I was already aware of but it's weird that I got such a drastically different perspective so quickly.
