    Dewalt you didn't mention that you can lock the trigger in the on position, so when you are boarding a ceiling you simply hold the drill at the back of the motor (moulded for your hand) and it gives you a more balanced grip and more force can be applied to the gun reducing cam out, it speeds the job up also 👍

    The kit came with it or you bought it separately?

    Will this gun take senco decking collated screws? Or any type of exterior collated screw?

      Yes, but only the phillips #2
      I saw a TH-cam video of guys comparing drills and using senco screw strips for drywall and flooring. The flooring uses #2 square- but the new attachment only uses dewalt specialty bits that are slightly shorter than 6” and very skinny shaft.
      No one makes. ANY other bits that work in it. So you have to buy a longer one, cut it down, cut a new locking groove in the back. Then chuck it in a drill and use a grinder (unless you own a lathe) and turn the shaft to the smaller size.
      Other option if you don’t want to try it yourself is take the longer 6” bits to a machinist.
      If I had known that before buying it- I would have bought a senco or makita. And I have been a dedicated dewalt guy for decades.
      Annoying as hell.

    can you use this in fencing?

    • @JosStrange
      @JosStrange 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, it explodes unless it senses the presence of drywall

    Great review and I bought the driver and attachment, but I didn't receive a case with mine. Do you have a model or part number for just the Case? Thanks

      Could you redeem the case on the dewalt website? Mine was the same but i had the chance to get the case via redemption

    Dewalt, as soon as you add the auto drive feature like the makita I will buy one. Not sure why we are here in 2019 and this feature has not been added. Locking on the trigger and having to listen to a motor constantly running is so 1980's not to mention annoying. Otherwise I will just keep using my Hilti

      aaron fisher why would you even look at the dewalt? Hilti is superior in every way. After that you should consider Milwaukee or makita.

    Please modify the magazine. The magazine is too wide for screwing a wallboard at any narrow wall or ceilling square corner. Makita collated screwgun perform the best. Have a try and check your product issue I told.

    Does anyone make a collated screw strip reloader!?? If I can get 2 or 3 reloads per strip.. at the cost of 25lbs of screws compared to a 1000pce colated at double the price... looks like no one has created like a magnetically tipped geared reloading system that can self feed the strip and reload screws into strips or a punch into strip type tool or something of the sort... comparing $32 per 1,000 collated stripped screws to $50 for 5,952 screws aka 25lb box of 1.25" coarse drywall screws... if i can save $1,000 in just screws per job by buying an even crude home made strip reloader I can can use in my off time any suggestions would be very much appreciated 💁💁💁
