Here in The Netherlands (also Belgium if i remember correctly) we have euthanasia as a option and it takes months to even YEARS to actually be injected with the drug and obviously the doctor is as much involved as the therapist / pyschologist in the persons life and it's mostly elderly people that end up wanting to be euthanised. Sometimes they don't get it which is frustrating for them because they want to choose their own way of dying and euthanasia is the most insufferable and preferabel option to them honestly.

The religion convo was hella interesting and it’s also interesting that they solely focus on Christianity. To clarify, not all religions and even some Christians believe that Hell is below us. For a lot of believers in Hell, it’s a completely other dimension, same as Heaven. I can’t speak for most religions but growing up in a Muslim household, the decision of who goes where was never something we examined closely since it was always up to God and whatever they chose, was right. However, oddly, there were some small clarifications. For example: if you weren’t Muslim but had no real knowledge of Islam, you don’t have to go to Hell. Another big thing was no one at all stays in Hell forever and eventually everyone will be in Heaven. The difference between good people and bad people is the duration. Some good people may go straight to Heaven and others may reside in Hell to essentially burn off a few of their sins and then go to Heaven. But then there are the select few who are labelled as “logs” or “fuel for the fire” who will essentially live in Hell forever.
It's hard looking at pictures of my brother. He's missed out on so much and I just look at pictures of him and think "this is where everything stopped". No more pictures, no more dinners, no more football games, no more birthdays.

I’m just scared for the fact that it’s literally forever...I can’t handle that on the inside I don’t want to die because I missed out so much in life I’m only 18 but I missed a lot as a kid and and a teen that’s ironic coming from me an 18 yr old. But I am terrified 24/7 about dying I can’t handle the concept behind it. Being conscious about it forever. It’s horrifying to me and I don’t want to..I hate the way I am and how scared I am to die. I chose to believe in these because I'd rather live in a world that has more meaning, that we all have a purpose to chose to be here. It's easier for me ( emphasis on FOR ME everyone is different and peoples beliefs should be respected) to live my life believing there is sanctuary after dieing and peace. That someone some source watches over us with love and compassion protecting us when asked. My life is quite slow and I'm doing things most have done first at a younger age but I'm grateful i get to see it through different eyes. Nothing in life is guaranteed but if something good is meant to be yours or happen then it will because it has always been yours. I'm sorry you are feeling this way but I reccomend learning about peoples views on this world and the afterlife ( atheism, wicca , christianity, taoism , hoodoo ectera) you can then see what resonates with you. To me our source / god is nature , the earth the universe and all the beings in it. What resonates with you? I hope this helps
