Awesome vid. Helped me think through my repoacement w/o needing to spend on spare parts...and I learned some new vocabulary like "cajiggering". The opening lines let me know that this was going to be a useful video "Second off you have got to look at your f-up and accept what you have done"...That exact though went through my mind when I started pulling off the body panels. Awesome to be able to lean while laughing. Thanks man!
Was your steering loose before this ? Like play even tho your bushings were good, I’m trying to figure out why I installed a new bushing and it’s still got play, thanks I know this is a long time ago
Yes mine is bent on my trailboss 325 and I have access to all kinds of stainless steel and a lathe unfortunately I don't have a welder yet so I'll probably use through bolts for now (stainless bolts, of course).
@@DonkeysBreath TBH the bent steering stem is not first priority right now since i had a rear coilover snap the shaft and sent the spring flying. I replaced the coilover with a length of square tubing just so it's still drivable but I get a new one eventually just like I'll get that steering straight one day. Lol

What kind of lubricant did you use while you're using the lave
it was just cutting oil, i was informed after that clip that it was unnecessary
