Hi Dominique! The one thing I must thank you for is all the research you do to present to us these updated choices and the reasons why. Going into the store to look for what would be good to improve skin texture can be confusing but with your experience you help to point us in the right directions. There is a morning and night anti-aging skincare routine that you presented about a year ago and I am still using that. The products last quite long and I am happy to say they have conditioned my skin for the better. My facial skin has gotten rough over the last few years. The lines around my mouth are quite pronounced long with double marionette lines and the 11 between my eyebrows. No crows feet oddly enough. I am happy to see these new products that I can try when I am ready to resupply. On another note, because of your encouragement in working from the outside in, I was able to prepare weeks ahead of time to attend a friends wedding. Reviewing your makeup videos and your most recent video of what to wear to different types of weddings where great to use to prepare and choose from. I wanted to have that extra special look and feeling walking in because I haven't seen these people in years. I was able to achieve both from my hair style to my shoes! I felt beautiful and I saw it in the mirror. Your book helped me to see myself differently and helped to reach out of my comfort zone. I can't thank you enough! Dominique, your last video you mentioned having issues with pores. I did as well and I read that Niaminicide (Vitamin A) works on pores. I have been using it for several years and use The Ordinary Niaminicide on a clean face before any other skincare. I've seen a difference. Love love love your videos on anti-aging makeup! I now use the tight line for liner and I agree you look younger. Working on your eye makeup instruction now!

Aren’t you lucky!? I’ve been a Paula’s Choice fan since she came out with her line years ago. Previously was a fan of her “Don’t Go to the Cosmetic Counter Without Me.” I have 100 confidence in their products. I have sensitive skin so I also love that they don’t add additional fragrance or irritants. Never had a reaction to anything in the line and I’ve used many, many at 58 from their Clear Acne line all the way to their Recovery line. Don’t know what I’d do if they discontinued it.💙
Hello, Michele! I've been using Paula's Choice products for 20+ years! My favourite sunscreen is the Hydralight All-Mineral SPF30. However, I'm not able to use it during the summer months because it does not offer high enough protection. WOW! Number 1 product worldwide! Paula's Choice 2% BHA. I believe it. I have been using this product for about 22 years. When I go off of it my pores get bigger and I go back to this product. Thank goodness for Paula Beguon! Remember her Don't Go To The Cosmetics Without Me or the one about blue eye shadow? I just ordered her reusable washable cotton pads. They're great!

Your points on sunscreen are spot on regarding all the things I do NOT want it to do under my makeup! Although I am sure the one you have chosen is terrific, $76 for 50 ml is out of my price range. Would love for you to find us one that is more affordable. I’ve tested a bunch this summer myself with miserable results…they all cause my makeup to pill and clump, and the shine…oi vey!

I’ve noticed with the hot, humid weather that I do have to pay more attention to my cleansing. Face and body. I too Dominique, do not wash my face in the morning. Like you, I have all of my nighttime cleansing and moisturizing and only want to use a warm wash cloth in the am followed by my day moisturizers. I just ❤️you! Thank you for sharing your research.
Just curious because I've never heard an influencer say anything about Paula having an old book "Don't Go To The Makeup Counter Without Me". I read it-- Actually, I STUDIED it back in the late 70's or early 80's and it became my makeup Bible;) She saved me SO much money. She went in and broke down ingredients in high end versus drugstore and gave recommendations--for instance, I still remember today that she said never spend big money on pencil liners cause most back then were pretty much the same. I can remember her putting me on to Cetaphil (I think) I could go on and on but she did a fabulous job of what she set out to do. I know that there were updated versions of the book and not sure when the last copy was printed. Haven't even checked. I mean, if I had studied my textbooks like I did that little book I'd have been on the deans list. Just thought it was cool that she put her knowledge into these products that I hear many rave about. If your skin is oily, you have to wash your face in the morning. I also love Paula's Choice. Have been using it for a few years now, and I feel my skin is getting better every year.

I use The Ordinary products. Great actives at a really good prices. I use a LaRoche Posay cleanser too. My Derm says go with the science. L'Oreal has been around for a long time.
Hi Dominique, are there any devices that you are using for skin care? I’m 53 and recently started noticing that texture on my chin like orange skin. After lots of research I decided to buy a radio frequency device. And let me tell you not just my chin got a tremendous change but my neck too!! WOOHOO!! And it’s only been 10 days of continuous use. There are a lot of myths surrounding “clean” beauty. Do your research before buying into this concept. Just because a product has chemicals doesn’t mean that you are using something that could harm you. Using natural products doesn’t necessarily mean that you will solve your skin issues either.

I use tretnoin at night and must wash my face in the morning per my derm doc. The sun would be too harsh. So i Wash, use Vit C, Co-10, moisturize, and sun screen to protect
I have used Lansinoh since I had my first daughter in 1996. Started having my daughters use it when they were little for chapped lips, cuts and scrapes. Of course, I told them it was princess ballerina cream! Lol! They are now 25 and 23... they still use it and call it princess ballerina cream! It is the best stuff ever!

Have you tried “Kitsch” products? I switched to their bar shampoo and conditioners and see a remarkable difference in hair growth and moisture level and less frizz (I have curly/frizzy hair). They are very clean products Plus they come in recycled paper boxes so there is no environmental waste.

Retin-A only works when used consistently per every dermatologist who has prescribed it to me. In fact, they stress that. It is irritating when you first begin using it but after you become accustomed to, the irritation goes away. If not, you may need a lower strength. I don't understand. I faithfully followed your directions years ago with no problems. What changed?
For future topics, it would be helpful if you reviewed the Image Cosmetics skincare and makeup lines. Spas in my area routinely use Image for their facials because it is a professional (as opposed to commercial) product and therefore supposedly has stronger, more effective ingredients. I love your videos and am glad I found you.

Thank you for sharing your skin care. You are beautiful as always. Cereve moisturizer has 3 ceramides. The big tube of body moisturizer is the same as the pm face moisturizer so it saves $. I like the Alpha brand for a body moisturizer. As I have gotten older my skin has taken on a scaly appearance even with tons of Bath and Body moisturizer. When I switched to Alpha, I started getting complements on my skin and how soft it is. I like using cereve healing ointment for my lips and under my eyes at night. Some people develop allergies to Lanolin. I would recommend an spf of 50, especially if you are outside.

I completely agree with you . I don’t recommend washing your face in the morning either -unless I need to shower, for the reasons you provided.

I stopped using multiple products on my super sensitive skin and the results are amazing. The redness, dryness and patchiness are almost gone.

I’ve been using MyChelle sunscreen from health food store. Seems to be very compatible with other products such as tinted moisturizer or foundation.

I take a shower every morning but I do not wash my face with anything and I have been doing this for years. I loves Paula’s choice, so glad your featuring this product and loving it. The Lanolin cream has become my new go to for any dry skin issues! My husband uses it on his psoriasis spots and swears it helps relieve the itching!!

I’ve noticed with the hot, humid weather that I do have to pay more attention to my cleansing. Face and body. I too Dominique, do not wash my face in the morning. Like you, I have all of my nighttime cleansing and moisturizing and only want to use a warm wash cloth in the am followed by my day moisturizers. I just ❤️you! Thank you for sharing your research.
Just curious because I've never heard an influencer say anything about Paula having an old book "Don't Go To The Makeup Counter Without Me". I read it-- Actually, I STUDIED it back in the late 70's or early 80's and it became my makeup Bible;) She saved me SO much money. She went in and broke down ingredients in high end versus drugstore and gave recommendations--for instance, I still remember today that she said never spend big money on pencil liners cause most back then were pretty much the same. I can remember her putting me on to Cetaphil (I think) I could go on and on but she did a fabulous job of what she set out to do. I know that there were updated versions of the book and not sure when the last copy was printed. Haven't even checked. I mean, if I had studied my textbooks like I did that little book I'd have been on the deans list. Just thought it was cool that she put her knowledge into these products that I hear many rave about. Thanks for what you do as well. Much appreciated the knowledge you share!
If your skin is oily, you have to wash your face in the morning. I also love Paula's Choice. Have been using it for a few years now, and I feel my skin is getting better every year.
Yeah I think something like that is a personal choice and if you feel you need to then do so. What she does works for her.

I use The Ordinary products. Great actives at a really good prices. I use a LaRoche Posay cleanser too. My Derm says go with the science. L'Oreal has been around for a long time.

I’m 53 and recently started noticing that texture on my chin like orange skin.
After lots of research I decided to buy a radio frequency device.
And let me tell you not just my chin got a tremendous change but my neck too!! WOOHOO!!
And it’s only been 10 days of continuous use.

There are a lot of myths surrounding “clean” beauty. Do your research before buying into this concept. Just because a product has chemicals doesn’t mean that you are using something that could harm you. Using natural products doesn’t necessarily mean that you will solve your skin issues either.

I use tretnoin at night and must wash my face in the morning per my derm doc. The sun would be too harsh. So i Wash, use Vit C, Co-10, moisturize, and sun screen to protect
I have used Lansinoh since I had my first daughter in 1996. Started having my daughters use it when they were little for chapped lips, cuts and scrapes. Of course, I told them it was princess ballerina cream! Lol! They are now 25 and 23... they still use it and call it princess ballerina cream! It is the best stuff ever!
It is nice to learn about the clean products you showed in this new video. I will definitely try most of them as you describe several issues I have noticed as I have gotten a little older. Have you tried “Kitsch” products? I switched to their bar shampoo and conditioners and see a remarkable difference in hair growth and moisture level and less frizz (I have curly/frizzy hair). They are very clean products Plus they come in recycled paper boxes so there is no environmental waste.

Retin-A only works when used consistently per every dermatologist who has prescribed it to me. In fact, they stress that. It is irritating when you first begin using it but after you become accustomed to, the irritation goes away. If not, you may need a lower strength. I don't understand. I faithfully followed your directions years ago with no problems. What changed?

For future topics, it would be helpful if you reviewed the Image Cosmetics skincare and makeup lines. Spas in my area routinely use Image for their facials because it is a professional (as opposed to commercial) product and therefore supposedly has stronger, more effective ingredients. I love your videos and am glad I found you.

Thank you for sharing your skin care. You are beautiful as always. Cereve moisturizer has 3 ceramides. The big tube of body moisturizer is the same as the pm face moisturizer so it saves $. I like the Alpha brand for a body moisturizer. As I have gotten older my skin has taken on a scaly appearance even with tons of Bath and Body moisturizer. When I switched to Alpha, I started getting complements on my skin and how soft it is. I like using cereve healing ointment for my lips and under my eyes at night. Some people develop allergies to Lanolin. I would recommend an spf of 50, especially if you are outside.
