This has nothing to do with Perth and everything to do with north Sydney. There is a person or group that has been blocking the bears for 25 years when they should never have been dumped from the comp in the first place . They were the only meaningful and financially viable team to be removed after the super league war and considering the absolute rabbles at the time that survived like Balmain Souths and St George and manly . Norths should have always been the first choice back to the league at first expansion
Just goes to show that WA isn't all doom and gloom. The 20 000 in attendance during Easts vs. phins on prime time is proof there is an appetite for league there.
I don't know how much help the W.A. government will provide to a non-AFL football franchise. Their idea of a stadium being "multi-purpose" is one where both the Eagles and Dockers can play.

Western bears ! pls , there definitely should be a team in Perth no doubt but not with the Bears nothing against the North Sydney Bears but they gotta find there own way . If the bears can't make it work on the north coast (NSW) then they can't make it work .
