    My phone has a accelerometer with 2,5mm/s^2 resolution, its thereby suited for bench grinders but not any other industrial machinery.

    Hello, I have a query, is this application useful in turbocharger rotors?

    • @AdashCompany
      @AdashCompany  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Theoretically yes. But for high speed rotors would be better to perform standard balancing job with measuring amplitude phase and speed.

    Great Equipment! Its possible use just A one trial weigth point or should use the a/b/c Weight point?

    • @AdashCompany
      @AdashCompany  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      We are afraid the answer is no. This is a balancing method without phase measurement (no speed probe). The final mass is calculated from all 3 trial weights. If you have a device which can measure amplitude and phase, then you can place the trial weight just once and then you get the result. Check out this video: th-cam.com/video/rz4gUVwwHDo/w-d-xo.html

      Hello Mark. We have to admit that Balancer App for iOS had very low priority this year. We were all busy mostly with the new VA5Pro development and then of course continously improving our current devices and software. But we opened this issue internaly again and programmers should start on iOS app before end of the year. Hopefully to have good news for you soon!

    dear Adash, that's really usefull app.. thank you very much.. but do you have other software that can calculate.. correction weight for limited holes on shaft, for examples like 8 holes.. u cant place accurately the correction weight on the shaft.. so the solution (best approximation) of the balancing must be within the existing holes..

    • @AdashCompany
      @AdashCompany  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, we call it Components function. Usually used for balancing of indstrial fans. Means you can define number of blades, for example that 8 and final correction weight will be split into 2 nearby blades instead of angle. You can check it for example in our Virtual Unit software which is free for download: adash.com/software-vibration-analysis/virtual-unit

    A high tech version of the old "4 run" balancing technique. This works really well if the unit is compliant, or loose on it's base.

    • @AdashCompany
      @AdashCompany  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Our vibration analyzers are mostly used for monitoring of industrial equipment such as el. motors, fans, pumps etc. But they can measure anything what generate vibrations. Even with our simplest device you can try it on el. scooters. Vibrio M: adash.com/portable-vibration-devices/a4900-vibrio-vibration-meter

    Hi. Excellent video and explanation, but i have a question.
    Rather than adding a 'new' correcting weight to the rotating object, I'd prefer to remove weight say with a die grinder.
    I don't anticipate that the weights in question would be anywhere near as big as in your video, but is it fair to assume that the weight would be REMOVED from the location OPPOSITE where the balancer suggests placing the correcting weight?
    Regards Mark in the UK

    • @AdashCompany
      @AdashCompany  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      This is absolutely correct: "the weight would be REMOVED from the location OPPOSITE where the balancer suggests placing the correcting weight". But we wanted to make the video more understandable. We also wanted to keep the Balancer App as simple as possible, therefore it does not contain remove (drill) weight option. Our vibration analyzers contains this option.

    I have small doubt what is res point(3.89,1.83)?

    • @AdashCompany
      @AdashCompany  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Balancing in one plane is just a geometric task. Let's construct the initial circle (centre 0,0; radius - init. vibration), circle a (centre A, radius - vibration with weight at position A), circle b (centre B, radius - vibration with weight at position B), circle c (centre C, radius - vibration with weight at position C). The result (point Res.) is then found at the intersection of the circles a, b, c. If the circles do not have a point as intersection, but only a region of intersection, then the result is somewhere inside (where? - that's a long story).
      So the Res. point is the result of a geometric solution. Position of Res. point determines the resulting final mass weight and the angle of position. Here the whole picture with circles is used to check the balancing calculation.
