@papadawda1 depends on your fishing style. Off shore vs inshore. Saltwater vs fresh water. And budget of course. What will you tow it with to determine the size of the boat you can tow

At the keys I've seen a cuda bite a 30 inch fish right in half and it's lifeless body was just floating through the bridges near marathon. Like you said, they are relentless!!

What rod and reel combos are you using? Looks like a BG reel and some sort of penn rod. I’m looking to buy my first saltwater setup and as a midwesterner who’s only fished the salt a few times I’m trying to figure out what’s best for all around offshore. Bottom, jigging, live bait, maybe a lil inshore and surf but not much. Looking at Kastking Kong 8ft Med Heavy with Kastking Kapstan SE 5000 with 40lb braid. Lmk if you think that’s a viable option for what I’m wanting to do. If not I’ll probably get a Penn Rampage Med Jigging Rod with 80lb braid on a Kapstan SE 8000. Great content, def keep my eyes out for more!🤘🏻
I use all Penn gear, they’re a sponsor of the channel. It’s a Penn authority 4500 with 20 pound braid and a 30-50# Penn carnage boat spinning rod. A 4500-5500 combo with the rod I just mentioned would work great for you
