Absolutely epic! This is the Gold Olympic team if she performs like this at the Olympics. Absolutely amazing. My only complaint about this video clip is the OBNOXIOUS MUSIC in the background. Can we please just enjoy the routine and hear the natural sounds of the routine?!?

The connections will definitely be deducted for slow connection, but in my opinion will be recognized for D score. The connections will not be recognized if there is clear stop, feet movement, or excessive arm swing. If there is slight adjustment of the body and the gymnast can clearly continue, the connection is acceptable.

Simone is an absolute lock for the AA, team, vault, and floor golds. I don’t think she’s too worried about winning or not winning on beam.

while a gold is possible on UB for sure, Nemour's form has improved drastically and she added the Komova transition. QQY certainly deserved Gold at worlds but the difference is she did her absolute best that day and Nemour didn't. it's not going to be the same fight come Paris for Bars imho

With a decent vault, she could really be a contender for the AA
Maybe even without a decent vault. With a 15+ on both bars and beam, all she needs on floor and vault is a 13 each to get above 56!

@@tired4748 not really, her vault has been week and her floor’s been scoring from high 12s to low 13s. Even if she hits, her vault and floor’s low value would not compensate for her bars and beam, especially up against simone, rebecca, shilese who’ve got difficulty on all fours

The big advantage Simone has is consistency. And her routine construction makes it easy for her to make most or all of her combo bonuses every time.
Simone might upgrade a tenth of two but her strategy isn't to exceed or even match the Chinese difficulty scores on beam. It never has been. It's get within 3 tenths of D, and bet on confidence/consistency/better dismount to win

...and it's a great strategy bc the Chinese are known to be very inconsistent on beam, as fabulous as they are when they hit. I do want to see a good beam finals, so I would like to see everyone hit, but we already know how that goes. It's beam. Nevertheless, two upgrades I'd really like to see Simone implement is: her free cartwheel through to a Schaefer
(D + E), and even though it's undervalued, I wish she would throw the Biles dismount back in. She has been just as precise on it as her full in. Those two upgrades would give her 3 extra tenths, right? (please correct me if I'm wrong) I don't think she needs to do anything else more. Does anyone have any thoughts on that?

Amazing routine. IDK if she would get all the connections credited in front of an international judging pannel tho. Couple of those were questionable under this quad's standards. Also she's leaving room for a couple artistry deductions. I think it would still easily score 15.000+
Exactly my view. There were some adjustments in many of the connections. Also some of the splits in the leaps were questionable. I'm excited for the prospect, but I'd like to see less of the long arm swings and micro-pauses.
Remove the BGM. Prefer the sound hitting on the beam
This was really good, but the Chinese women are so inconsistent on beam and bars. Its really sad to watch sometimes. When they hit, its a wonderful thing to see but so often they dont hit. And i hate to see it because i know they can do it but its like there's a block or something on both bars and beam.
