Good one sir. When standby becomes primary, how users will connect to new primary. Do we need to inform them or provide the new primary server details to them.
Listener should be configure on both database (i.e. primary and standby ) and it should be up and running . Database related information should be listed in tnsnames.ora file. MRP process should be also running.
