Sunday, I tasted is MRE menu 18, first ever time tasting mre, it was really good. It had beef ravioli, like power drink, coffee, banana bread, white bread with cheddar cheese spread. Gum, beef jerky. All together it was really good. A friend in the army gave it to me.
There's a lot protiens vegetarian source that seriously soooo good, its like the one that put this mre doesn't even know what vegetarian or vegan food is 😑 at least they have to know the basic if they're doing this anyway lol
As a vegetarian I can say that supposed lasagna is a insult. If you want to taste at least okay lasagna from the store try the vegetarian lasagna from Stouffer's it's actually pretty good. So is the Amy's entire vegetarian Frozen menu 😇 .
I've had my share of vegetarian food over the years and can honestly tell you that whoever put all those things together has never had true vegetarian food, or what exactly vegetarian means. I know that military dieticians work REALLY hard to find appropriate foodstuffs to test before they are ever put into an MRE. They even have a military pate (pastet) for vegetarians. Ground and seasoned beansprouts with cumin.
As a vegetarian of 39 years it looked vile and you are far braver than me i would never have tried it and why give 3 tortillas crazy , well done Taras x
LOL! I'm pretty sure the tortilla was suppose to be for the peanut butter and the cookies were to be eaten on its own. and the lasanga was suppose to be eaten with a spoon

To be fair most MRE's even non-vege aren't that appetizing or good. I think a lot of people who review them are really upselling them.
