the stewardess is like:

As a former flight attendant, I would have informed the customer with the long hair that her hair was covering the tv and she should rein it in. Many people do this with coats and jackets, I just tell them it is blocking the person behind you from lowering their tray table and blocking their tv.

A week later back on work on a flight overseas someone kicked my leg. Now I hit people hard if they are annoying me. That works and the crew respects it. I assume they already know the bad apples.

And once, some a-hole left gum hidden in the inner part of the seat belt on a redeye flight and it destroyed my coat because it was where I didn't notice it until it had gotten smashed deep into the fibers.

I did not say anything, but pushed it aside, she felt me push it and pulled it to where it fell behind her head instead of over the seat.
