Surf still raging after a little summer storm

We started summer off here with a little storm. The rain was welcome but it was still chilly. It's odd sometimes with the smaller storms seeming to create rougher conditions than the big blows. Yesterday the surf had brought in lots of sand, the beach was very soft even farther away from the dune face. Now today it's seaweed, so the current is pretty strong. it's funny how things cycle through, one day it's sand, the next seaweed, another it's shell fragments, or gravel, or crab parts.
