- Joe Freshgoods recently dropped his second collaboration with New Balance, this time releasing a 990 V3 nicknamed "Outside Clothes". Ths bold design features beige suede panels, with bright blue and green hits throughout. Check out my in-depth review for a closer look, and let me know your thoughts down below! conceptwise these are at least NB of the year. After reading his interview with sneaker freaker, these are a must cop for me. Also, they look so much better on feet than in-hand
These are so great. Resale prices are shockingly only like 15% above retail even after all this time. Might pick them up.
For me NB is the king of 2021 for releases and collabs
My fav shoe of the year! Def entering every raffle...went to the Chicago popup that ended up being a disaster and was one of the unlucky ones who couldn't get in.

Gorgeous pair and beautiful inspiration and story behind them. If I can score for retail these are going straight to foot, but I'm not going to be paying retail for these. Nice vid 👌
The heel tab should read ‘made for resale’ as no way you’re getting these at retail. If they go like the 992 did, they won’t be attainable for most people. Shame as they’re a unique look with beautiful materials.

What can i say except it's absolutely 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. JFG killed it yet again with NB.
Dam might have to get this too.. just gotten my bembury water be the guide as well. My shoe rack is quickly gaining in on the NB, thanks to you and not in a bad way - in my late 30s now, NB are just much more wearable with their design and quality that can stand through time.

Reporting back! Finally got my pairs in hand. Gorgeous pairs, some glue stains and agree that minor parts of the dark blue paintjob can be better. Your advice has the sizing spot on again; I went half size down despite my feet being slightly wide and there is still slight wiggle space at the toes; towards the snug fit but perfect for me and very comfortable.
Copped these in my city where he dropped them in our hood. These are easily new balance of the year
Was able to cop in DC when he did a pop up shop here last weekend. Fire in person! Really dope collab. Hope Joe does more with NB.
How was the line up in DC? I saw it late but seems like there were pairs for everyone.
@@qoshelton It was good. Everybody was able to get a pair. I wear a size 14 and got there maybe 2 hours after the line started and it went smoothly.
One of the best releases from New Balance this year along with the 990 v3 Bodega "Here to stay" . I am fine paying resell for these if I can't cop when they drop.
I tried all of the raffles this morning and,of course, struck out. I tried on New Balances’ website and there was an hour wait in line. I went straight to GOAT and bought my pair. It actually wasn’t crazy over retail and the price is holding firm all day. Grab these if you’re on the fence. I have the “Anatomy of a Heart” 992’s, and they skyrocketed. Look forward to wearing these. Thanks for another great review Sean, and explaining the comfort level and sizing, as always. (Blue Jays creeping up on the Yankees). 👍🏼

I'm split down the middle on these, I think that they look great but for me I would find it fairly difficult to work in that colourway with an outfit of mine, it's certainly a unique colourway but I don't think that I would even pay retail for them (they are going to retail here for $380 AUD), I have the Bodega and Kith Genesis and personally prefer the understated look of those two

Hey Sean, I took your advice and bought these in a half size down. I'm getting some pinky toe cramp. Does this shoe break in and give more room for the toes as you wear them?
They don’t hurt my pinky’s personally so I can’t really tell you if they break in over time and solve that issue. You went a half size smaller than your normal Nike size?
Got the same issue. You can either take off the insoles or stuff your socks at the toe box are overnight.
hey Sean when you say 9.5 fits perfect does that mean there is some room or just snug ordered mine in 9.5 but not a fan of snug lol
There’s some room, like an index finger’s width between my toe and the edge
I still think the Bodega 990v3 looks better than JFG, just my opinion. JFG is too much of bright color for me. The on feet portion looked better. Whoever got these, wear them outside! Wear ya sneakers!

That’s weird I recently bought some new balance 992 aim my true size 10 and after 5+ hours of wearing them my feet started to hurt
I am late to the party on these. Are these worth $369-$399 they are currently going for on StockX? A little steep for something that is not the easiest to wear/match.
All relative to your taste. To me they are.

Curious if you could please help me with the sizing. I have a pair of 574's size 10 and they fit perfect. Recently got a pair of 990v5's black and silver. Same size 10 but they feel too big. Is this normal for New Balance?

Hype aside these are gorgeous. I’m more into NB with Abzorb tech but I like these! Glad to have some NB heat on my person! The grey m990vs3 is next on my list! Mostly copping NB this year and air maxes!
