Can you please explain us how to removing air bubbles in the brakes, how to solve sponge brake lever, how to clean the calipers, how to bleed brakes, how to clean glazed brake pads and rotor in speed 400. Thanks a lot
Hi I'm also facing similar issues on my scrambler 400x And i wanted to check if the 390 brake pad is functioning properly on your Triumph. Can you provide any insights on its performance or any common issues to look out for? Please share the model no. of Duke 390 brake pads🙏
In my speed 400 the stock pad holds up to 4k km and the i changed to ceramic pads and now its 7.5k the pads are in half of its life brake bite is sharp no scraping noise but in rain it is bit squishy...
In this type of caliper, pads can be changed without even removing the caliper. If you feel pushing the piston back is hard, just loosen the bleeder valve and push the piston back.
Hello Bro, One quick question I am using a 10 W 50 Full Synthetic Power 1 Ultimate on my Pulsar 180 and most of my running is on highways with almost no gear shifts and I run at speeds of 50-65 kmph the bike is from year 2009 and still in good condition as the vibration from the idle engine is negligible. Recently I felt the oil has dropped so I took out the entire oil and measured it, it is nearly 780 ml. The bike has done 2300 kms on this oil should I use it back or should I fill the new oil.
@@sarcasticbhai well the bike already has minimum and maximum mark of oil level - always follow that... And try using premium mineral oil or semi synthetic oils with older bajaj dtsi bikes... They seem to have issue with oil leaks with head oil leaks. U can try using castrol power one oil and always use recommend grade for smoother operations
@@ANIK5261 Don't use those semi synth oils. Full synthetic is always better, old cars and bikes are still running with amsoil in foreign countries without any issues.

I faced an issue with my speed 400 where i have sponge brake lever and poor braking performance, the mechanic suggested me to change the orginal brake pads(but i barely rode the bike for 1500km), guess what the the orginal brake pads still has 70% life left, but since he insisted i changed it, but the problem didn't go away...after a month i went to the service center today and i insisted them to check it specifically about the issue with both front and back brakes, then for the front brakes i think he did some brake bleeding to get some air bubbles out and for the back brakes the brake pads got glazed soo much that the back brakes are literally dead, so they deglazed it and everything works little better now🥲🥲
