Thoughts on Philip and Alexander

My First Grandson is Alexander.....my daughter (his Aunt) bought him the Iliad when he was born, as Alexander the Great carried that book with him!! My daughter's major in college ( well, one of them) was CAMS - Classic and Mediterranean Studies!

Sounds like a good read, I’ll have to pick it up. Just finished a Ulysses S. Grant bio and a George Washington bio that I loved. Both are written by Ron Chernow and are close to 1000 pages but are well paced and definitely worth the commitment.

Wow you are a really fast reader to have got through so many books this year already! I’m super impressed!!! Wish I could read as fast, I am quite a slow reader so it takes me a while to finish a book. How much time a day do you spend reading??
