I think Samura won’t blow his cover yet. It will be much easier for him to get to the rest of the sword bearers if he uses the kamunabi’s help. Maybe Hakuri needs Chihiro’s help because *“Samura couldn’t protect Uruha from the tree guy”*
I mean, there were people predicting that Samura will be the traitor. In fact, the color spread for the "Sword Bearers Assassination Arc" is a direct reference to the poster for the japanese movie called "Outrage". With Samura being in the same exact postition on the color page/spread as thw traitor on the poster. And more than one user figured this out before the reveal on reddit. The last panel with Chihiro has the same bubble effects when Hakuri uses his transportation sorcery. I hope either Chihiro is transported to them or Uruha is transported to Samura. I know Hirohiko managed to wield Kumeyuri, which probably means Uruha is dead due to the eternal contract... but i'm willing to cope for my boy... #justiceforUruha
if you look at the final panel there is the black bubbles from hakuri's storehouse sorcery, hakuri is trying to transport chihiro to their location to help them
@@Allons-Y-04but uruha is dead 100% cuz otherwise hirohiko can't use kumeyuri, hakuri is panicking and they need help against the now revealed to be traitor samura who just killed uruha and he's trying to summon chihiro, thats what i think
When Hirohiko mentioned Samura I actually ignored it like Chichiro. Then Hirohiko mentioned the pact with Yura three years ago and I thought he meant with the sword master. But then he mentioned Samura again and I was like wtf did I just read and backtracked😂. What a twist man! If Hirohiko is using Kureyumi then that means Uruha is dead. We will probably get a flashback from Uruha next chapter. I can't believe it.
@Allons-Y-04 It was definitely completely intentional from Hokazono. He wanted that info to drop so casually to catch you off guard. But also the fact that Samura trusts Yura more to have the Shinuchi than the original sword master is scary. The og Shinuchi wielder must be an absolute demon and potential the final villain beyond Yura.
I have a feeling next chapter will be extra devastating. In the very last panel with Chihiro, you can see bubbles that look like the ones that appear when the storehouse is moving something. I feel theres a chance Hakuri is pulling Chihiro to the temple (almost off of impulse) which will probably knock him out for a good long while, only to have whatever forces left and a wounded Chihiro to face the strongest swordsman of the series. It doesnt help that Samura seems to have the most connection to Chihiro out of the sword bearers, so this would probably knock Chihiro down even further until reinforcements arrive
@@Allons-Y-04 I think Shiba is gonna have to show up to help. Because there is no way, Chichiro can fight Samura if Chihiro gets transported to the temple or if we have to fight Samura at all.
@@nikjovan4816I hope shiba does. Ever since that sky teleportation moment, I’ve been itching to see this guy actually fight someone. He wins all of his fights offscreen, and it would be such a cool little demonstration. But I don’t think that this is when it’s gonna happen.
I was shocked but wasn’t at the same time lol. Nonetheless this reminds me of Sentinel Primes betrayal. Justice for Uraha very intrigued to see where this goes.
I saw this theory online. In one of the chapters there was a panel of a full set of Samurai armor inside of Senkutsuji Temple. And we know that one of the Hishaku members who was present at Kunishige Rokuhira's death was wearing a typical set of Samurai armor. What if that Hishaku member was Samura? I mean Samura sounds a lot like Samurai so is that a hint? Also what if the other female Hishaku member was/is the female former Enchanted Blade Wielder we still have to meet?
Looking back it was kinda obvious Samara was the trader. He was the only one outside of shiba that knew where Chihiro and his dad lived. We all were blinded by how cool of a character he was that no one wanted to believe he was bad 😅
I too had a hard time believing it when I read it, but I wouldn’t say blinded to the whole thing. A traitor was never brought up so I really wasn’t thinking anything on that level.
@@alexisguillen8400 true, I can’t remember if the story explicitly says there’s a trader but the community has been theorizing about a trader for a little bit

Idk to me it doesn't make sense. Why would samura choose to kill uruha now instead of when he got tobimune while they were outside the temple? And if they were planning to bring him tobimune in the first place, why did he still fight at the temple? And why did the tree guy say if he's in trouble now?
I told someone else this but I still know there’s a flaw in it: probably because he needs to still covertly use the kamunabi’s help to get to all the other sword bearers… then finally make his move because if he blows his cover on Uruha then it will be much harder to get to the other sword bearers. But yeah the flaw is Hirohiko can use the blade. Which leads me to believe hypothetically that Hakuri is taking Chihiro because Samura couldn’t protect Uruha from the tree guy
@@Jonjonrenzo Just cause he’s a traitor, doesn’t mean he wants to kill everyone. His goal seems to only be to kill the sword bearers. @@chancefranklin3062 but why put the guards in that position in the first place? If he made a deal with yura then he should've been able yo negotiate that
@@Jonjonrenzo my guess is this: him getting the sword wasn’t apart of the plan but bringing uruha, who trust him the most, to his location was the plan. Then have the hatshaku kill two birds one stone; having no guards would be suspicious so uruha wouldn’t have come. He got his sword unexpectedly, but never planned on leaving them to die, hence y he was mad when he was teleported away. Overall my point is that having no guards would not have brought him and uruha together, and he wants to save those he can save but will allow some to die “for the greater cause” of destroying the blades. We also have to factor in that giving the hishaku the blades doesn’t solve the problem, but the sword master is probably so strong that he feels it is necessary to slay those who would stop his plan.
@chancefranklin3062 but hiruhiko already had tobimune, so why wouldn't bringing him the sword be part of their plan? Either way, both hiruhiko and the tree sorcerer mentioned how samura getting tobimune was a bad thing for them. If they were truly working together, why would that be a bad thing? I suppose they wouldn't want him to have it because he could betray them, but how would he plan on killing the other sword bearers? Even though he's stronger, it's still not gonna be easy without the enchanted blade
