She just started asking the liberals and ndp these questions. She's noticed how the winds are changing and changed teams. She also is a lot harder on conservatives than liberals and ndp.

With all due respect, Vassey, Canadians do NOT get more back with the rebate. Factoring in the cost of living, groceries, gas, utilities and all the hidden taxes upon taxes, we are not better off. I would suggest interviewing Canadians who have small businesses or single parents or families that struggle every day all in the name of saving the planet. The politicians you interview never give the real story. Ever. Word salad every single time!

Why are they not talking about the hundreds of millions tax dollars it cost annually to run the carbon rebate program. We need to stop being punished when there’s no green alternatives available or sustainable!!!!

3 cents at the pump, yes but look at all that does not include all the increases in other areas, for example the costs to every business that get taxed on multiple levels, extra cost to manufacture, store and transport the goods. These companies are not eating that cost, it is being passed down to consumers. Prove me wrong.

Nobody gets this rebate!! I am a student and I have received one small 100$ transfer in april and thats it. It paid for gas that month. But the amount your taxes steals from me amounts to waaaaaay more than one 100$ etransfer.

Canada doesn't have the infrastructure to transport that much LNG that you are talking about . The "free market" could do that if it wants . It will not as ot a risky investment .

The real truth is the NDP, the Liberals, their consultants, so-called economists and others have never calculated the real, total and full impact of the carbon tax and its inflationary effects. The tax is applied over and over again at all levels of supply chains for multiple goods and services and then, the HST is applied on top of the carbon tax. Canadians are taking a tax hit on every transported item, in addition to their own personal transportation and home heating, which has inflated many prices to unsustainable levels, all at the same time.
Until alternative, affordable and cost effective transportation means and technology are made available to the public and commercial enterprises (and EVs are not the solution they are made out to be from a GHG emissions standpoint), the carbon tax will continue to be a major, unmitigated, progressive, financial disaster, unless its stopped. The rebates provided are token amounts that will never cover the real costs plus inflation in this country. Let's get on with the election.

To be fair, whether you are a fan of either party, Scheer is a really poor communicator. He always seems timid, like he is stepping on eggshells when he speaks. He doesnt have conviction in his voice and his arguments get dismantled very easily.
