You probably knew this but, in the video it said “FIRE 86” for a tower ladder. It can either be called Truck 86, Tower 86, Ladder 86, or Hook & Ladder 86. Good catches man!

in NYC we see them every single day, people have stopped really caring to move aside.

It depends where you are in the US really. In Texas most people will immediately come to a full stop as soon as they see the lights (unless they’re on the highway)
