I was there in Berkley same day. I got some great videos as well. Loved this performance I had never heard the song before and It stayed with me for days after the show. So hauntingly beautiful.
main melody 3/4 time bass part 4/4 dunno if I'm right there - just learning my music theory really ... but what ev's there's clearly something weird going on. feel free to educate me whichever way around this song is epic
The song is in 6/8, but the bass can be notated as 4/4, indeed. This song is simpler than it seems, actually. The chords are just D, F#m and A (and an E at the end). The strangeness is mostly created by Jonny, who adds a lot of dissonance with his instrument (an Ondomo, which imitates an Ondes Martenot).
Why do Americans feel the need to hoot and scream and try and make everything about them? I guess looking at their president it’s probably easy to see why
Americans try not to scream through a performance when it's quiet for 5 seconds challenge (impossible)
This was the theme song to my cancer battle
Hope youre doing alright now

Keep it up :)
This song played live is such a rare sight, I would get a seizure if they played this when I see them...
Thom's mistakes are still better than the rest of the world's best work
The irony, considering what the song's about. But he shakes it off.
He made mistakes from his heart 😂 😂
What mistakes?
What mistakes?
The clichés that a child would write.
ahhhh thoms voice at around 5:33 just gives me chills...soooo beautiful

Un grito y un desahogo a los sentimientos más profundos de nuestro ser... gracias Tom por expresar tanto en un grito.
Thank you so much for these!
I love how everyone was like ¨oh they are playing this one, bring the tissues¨
This is my mantra when I'm Lucid Dreaming during a Hypnagogic Hallucination. Really tough pushing and walking through walls.
They really enjoyed the 2 day berkeley run, i hope. Sound great and a deep, thorough two nights.
Sublime

What an annoying crowd
Greek theater. It was not an annoying crowd, it was an adoring crowd. I believe they were very happy to perform there. Chant “it’s not raining “.
