@Andy I'm not saying all headphones arent unique (most aren't) But these headphones are for bass heads (as said in the video) they are made to output the most bass They also have haptic feedback which many headphones don't have The reason for the haptic feedback is because too much bass can muddy the audio so the haptic feedback is another outlet for you to FEEL the music
Just got my Crusher 360 and they blow my original Crusher wireless away. better highs and mids and the bass is unbelievable, and the bass isn't muddy or covers up the mids and highs like the originals did. And they hit some lows the old ones never did. I debated the price for a long time, but finally bought them, and I have no regrets at all once I tried them out.
As a person who owns both it's hard for me to decide as well. I just love them both so so so soooooo much. Can't go wrong with either. Although, I would rather wear my crusher 360 in public over the n1.
I wouldn't wear any over ear headphones while walking it makes me sweat and just not as convenient as truly wireless earbuds. But at home/work/school sitting the Sony are amazing. Definitely worth 99 dollars

However the crushers with the bass slider on give off the illusion of being much much much louder due to the fact they are rattling your brains out. The xb950n1 don't have that bass you feel but rather the bass you hear. If that makes sense lol. It sounds amazing but the crushers you hear and literally feel inside your head and down your neck.

I had a pair of the old school 950’s which are such solid headphones. I was looking to see what kind of ANC headphones I could buy during Black Friday and picked up the Sony WH C700N headphones. Really great sound great battery life and half off. I gave my 950’s to my nephew who was ecstatic! But I really missed having my 950’s so I exchanged 700N’s for the 950N1’s. It was only an extra $20 so it was a no brained. I just love the soundstage of the 950 models.
Hard to workout in the sonys. Hot ears... no problem with OG crushers or 360. I like the OG crushers a bit better, hits harder and mids and highs are about as good as the 360s
just did the same, and yeah with the app i can tune it down between the +6-8db settings for most of my needs and its not muddied or "falling behind" anything. 6 if i want to bring the vocals up more as well as snares, 8 if i want to drop them back a bit for more bass. 10 is..........is jus for fun. Ive noticed they need power though with the 3.5mm as in youd need a strong native sound card or something if someone was trying to use them for a pc(gaming movies etc) as well as mobile bass cans. I have a schiit stack which i use to power an other setup, which ive notice keeps up with the bluetooth performance. If i plug directly to my phone i notice the highs/mids fall back big time due to a lack of supplemented power. At 120$ theres literally no comparison, I went in to get some 50$ range IEM's when i saw the N'1s on sale i looked them up a bit and had to get them.The NC is def better than nothing, As well as the app this really gives a lot at that price point.
XB950n1 is a cringy headphones when it come to play my music, Jlab earbuds wireless makes my music more clearer and bass thumping. Yes You can boost bass but doesn't mean it give you thumping bass as like my skullcandy crusher and btw there not the same I have Xb950n1 it clarity is not that clear but clearer the sound isn't even as good then skullcandy or my jlab
They look really freaking huge, though. I hate the design of them. Saw them at Best Buy and I completely hated how chunky they were. Ugly as hell. I don't need the best looking headphones, but they gotta look half way freaking decent. Haha.

I must say the 950N1 with viper4arise Fx sound mod turns the 950N1 into monsters and can hit every frequency even low unlike the skullcandy crushers. Skullcandy crushers cant even hit below 40 Hertz which is the reason I wont buy anymore skullcandy crushers until they fix that problem, if you play a song below 40 Hertz the bass makes a mechanical sound or nonexsitent. 950N1 with viper4arise gives you the same vibration effect as the skullcandy crushers but can hit every frequency

If it is working then go into viper4arise fx and in the top right corner will be 3 dots, click on it. Look for "UI setting" then click on it. Once you in UI settings, click on "Expert" then back out. You will notice viper4arise Fx now has more advanced options. Second, scroll down until you see "ENABLE ViPER-DDC" then click on listening device right below it and choose which one sounds best. (Must have headphones on with music playing to choose the best optimized one) Now third, click on "Enable V4A-SpeakerFX" (first option at the very top). Fourth, enable "FIREqualizer" and click on the green slider or blue slider where it say select preset. (depending which version you have. Put the first 2 sliders up at +8 (first two sliders are the low frequency sliders) Later you will have to come back and set it to your likings after these steps just play around with it. Fifth, scroll down til you see "ENABLE diff surround", after activating click on "Select Delay Time" right below it and click on "5 ms". Sixth, scroll down till you see Enable Dynamic system" then click on "Select listening device" and click on "Extreme Headphones(v1)" Then click on "Select Dynamic Bass" and set it to "12 percent". Seventh, the MOST IMPORTANT STEP is scroll down til you see "Enable ViPER Bass" enable it! Now keep select bass mode as " Natural Bass" unless you like the other two options which are " pure bass" or "subwoofer". Now click on "Select Bass Frequency" and set it to 40 Hz. Now click on "Select Bass Boost" And set it to either 10.0 dB or 11.0 dB Now last, scroll down til you see "Enable ViPER Clarity" Click on "Select Clarity" and set it to your likings. NOW if you really want to make Viper4Arise pop, you need this music player app called Poweramp ( best music app my opinion), poweramp doesnt filter any sliders like most music apps on the playstore, what I mean is when you turn the bass up it doesnt make the mids and highs get low or when you turn mids and highs up it doesnt make the bass get low. If you do get it just remember to turn off "limit" in equalizer settings and turn the bass knob to 51%, and just mess with the sliders to your likings. The last of them all is to make sure the "Bass Boost" settings on your headphones is on to experience the feeling you feel when you listen to skullcandys but these headphones and the N1s can hit frequencies lower than 40hz. That's it, now you can go back and mess around with it and set each thing to your likings, just have fun until you are satisfied.
The crusher wireless hit 40 - 75hz which is probably what you're referring to but the crusher 360 actually upgraded to 20 - 100hz which provides a much deeper sound.

The mids and highs were a bit brighter and the volume could pump up just a tad, I'd say no question. But as is, the harder hitting base and the about the same mids and highs make the OGs a better value.
Waiting on the price drop 300 for skullcandy is ludacris. Last 300 skullcandy I bought was the mix master mike headset and it the head band snapped 2 weeks in. And skullcandy didnt honor the life time warranty.

If those 360's have the same hinge set up as the Crusher Wireless that they replace then i think you will find that they are not durable at all..... mine lasted just over 10 months and they snapped, as do many other peoples, check out Amazon UK reviews and there is plent of pics with snapped hinges.... i look after my gear in a way that most people dont and they still snapped, i now have the Sonys and altho they have less bass... they have better quality bass, its real sounding bass unlike the Skullcandy.

The lower volume of the crusher 360’s is a deal breaker for me, the sony’s are half the price and they get a lot louder. I would get the sony’s and save the $150
What about the the crushers wireless? They badass too, good design durable, 2 color choices, and 150$. The crusher 360 is a limited item and more of a collectible than anything else
I used to get the Sony headphones for their bass but every single pair developed a rattle within a day at least. This happened on several pairs. I have never had this issue with skullcandy.

i dont think these two are even comparable.. the bass from the sony xb950n1 doesn't come even near to what the crushers have to offer.. skullcandy crushers are the real basshead headphones.. xb950n1 are just artificially boosted bass headphones.. if you're crazy for bass (the bass that makes your head explode) go for the crushers.. if you just want to bring out the bass a bit in your music and nothing too over the top go with the xb950n1.. also i would like to remind people that the crushers aren't like anything you've heard before.. they're a new experience.. i don't own the 360s but the og crushers.. and they lack bass on thr 20Hz-40Hz frequency range.. to be exact the stereoheptic driver can't produce those frequencies.. so in some songs that have that very deep bass you'll be disappointed because you won't get that booming bass you'd usually get.. but they're are still far ahead than any other bass headphones out there.. i hope the 360s fix this deep bass issue though
If you like cleaclean bass the sony. If you want a vibrating dildo on you're head the crushers. I had both. Took the crushers back. They sounded like trash. If you took you're hands and held the sides the fake bass went away. Its litterly just a vibrating motor and springs. They sound like pure shit. I love hard real hard hitting bass. But they just vibrate. Verry annoying. Also as far as people looking at you in public. Iam almost sure that these days everyone know what the hell head phones are. The lower volume of the crusher 360’s is a deal breaker for me, the sony’s are half the price and they get a lot louder. I would get the sony’s and save the $150
What about the the crushers wireless? They badass too, good design durable, 2 color choices, and 150$. The crusher 360 is a limited item and more of a collectible than anything else

I used to get the Sony headphones for their bass but every single pair developed a rattle within a day at least. This happened on several pairs. I have never had this issue with skullcandy.
With usb-c it would be the perfecct one for me.

i dont think these two are even comparable.. the bass from the sony xb950n1 doesn't come even near to what the crushers have to offer..
skullcandy crushers are the real basshead headphones.. xb950n1 are just artificially boosted bass headphones..
if you're crazy for bass (the bass that makes your head explode) go for the crushers.. if you just want to bring out the bass a bit in your music and nothing too over the top go with the xb950n1..
also i would like to remind people that the crushers aren't like anything you've heard before.. they're a new experience.. i don't own the 360s but the og crushers.. and they lack bass on thr 20Hz-40Hz frequency range.. to be exact the stereoheptic driver can't produce those frequencies.. so in some songs that have that very deep bass you'll be disappointed because you won't get that booming bass you'd usually get.. but they're are still far ahead than any other bass headphones out there.. i hope the 360s fix this deep bass issue though

If you like cleaclean bass the sony. If you want a vibrating dildo on you're head the crushers. I had both. Took the crushers back. They sounded like trash. If you took you're hands and held the sides the fake bass went away. Its litterly just a vibrating motor and springs. They sound like pure shit. I love hard real hard hitting bass. But they just vibrate. Verry annoying. Also as far as people looking at you in public. Iam almost sure that these days everyone know what the hell head phones are. I dont think no one looks at you like " OMG!!!! Look at that person with headphones on so weird.!! I dont give a damn what people think. Also these reviews dont know audio. They keep referring to the skullcandy crushers as (BASS) it's not bass. Its vibrations. Litterly. Not from hard hitting. But because it is not base the litterly just vibrate more as you turn it up. There trash. There not fun annoying.
