good song, i had this on a c.d. about ten years ago and i had no idea who sang it because i had downloaded it off of napster (anyone remember napster?) and it had the artist listed as Staind and i knew it wasnt no damn staind so i just figured it was an unreleased track from some band and then i found it today by googling the lyrics.
A friend had made me a copy of staind - break the cycle back in the day on a blank tape back in the day and he included this song on it though i could tell it def wasn’t staind but I bumped it regardless. A few years later i had heard stupid girl and absolutely loved that song, and here recently heard it come on the radio so it sparked an interest for me in Cold all of a sudden, and i listened to no one and the way he sings i was like hey that sounds like the same voice off that one song that was on that tape dude made for me that was supposed to be break the cycle, so i googled cold and looked up their albums and ended up finding this!! I’m so happy to know the name of the song and who sings it!! It just sparks even further interest in Cold for me too!! Damn they were fucking badass!!
@@WILD__THINGS I remembered partying with some girl ten years ago and this song was playing. The lyrics just popped into my head today and it took forever to track it down. I remember it also being saved on her player as Staind and we talked about how it definitely wasn't Staind.
Yet to find a song similar to this that invokes the mellow aggressive nihilism of this. Kind of a shame as I feel like it could be explored and expressed further
