- This video is about CIBC GIC Account creation process in Pakistan. I went into the details on how you can receive GIC certificate in Pakistan without any problem.

I got my GIC Certificate from CIBC bank and I wired the money from Habib Metro Bank to CIBC from my simple PKR account.
You can also follow this process to receive the GIC certificate without any hurdles and by paying reasonable additional charges.

So basically Pkr account say transfer kafi difficult process hoo gya hy.

Hi, it doesn't matter. You can still go to the main branch with your current account number.
Assalamualaikum, I have current account at habib metro ,but the problem is that when i was opening my current account i showed them the letter paid of my friend shop that i work there,its actually a shop ,so now every time i receive my habibmetro Estatement ,there is that logo(name) of there shop on the top right corner ,will it be a problem during visa filing,cause i don't belong to tgat store in any sense ,should I create another account in meezan ,suggestions plz.

I have opened my PKR account in Meezan bank for GIC transaction but now the bank is asking me that I must deposit the amount in my PKR account for at least 21 days before transferring to my Canadian account. Is it mandatory?

That’s why I didn’t go for the Meezan bank. I will recommend you to go with the Habib Metro Bank.

Of course, it is possible. In fact, it happened with me once back in January 2021 as I passed the mentioned deadline but later I was able to have a new deadline and paid my gic.

It actually varies from bank to bank. I will recommend you to visit the main branch of Habib Metro bank as their remittance department always have the correct information.

Please note that for GIC under CIBC’s International Student Deposit Program, we will process the payment only if remitter’s and beneficiary’s name match.
We will process the payment only if it is received from student’s account or any joint account of student.
