I understand his point. But can we talk for a minute about how he is just throwing out the school she goes to?! I feel like that’s even more harmful than TikTok
If something happens to the kids because he mentioned the school… it’s gonna be his fault and going to lose custody of all kids.

I feel so horrible for the kids especially North. My parents got divorced when I was 8 it caused me a lot of pain but I know this situation is totally different. I’m praying for the kids they don’t deserve to see any of this from Kanye or Kim.

True, he's pissed and unraveling more and more daily. This is such a dangerous time for newly divorced couples with children. Ultimately, he's gonna lose because on top of his public outbursts, his money is nothing compared to the Kardashian/Jenner empire and he knows it.

As a mental health professional it is so hard to see someone in a mental health crisis and their crisis being blasted to the media for clicks and views (I’m not saying you are doing this, I mean media outlets) it’s just so disheartening…it’s very obvious that he’s suffering from a manic bipolar episode and it could last a long time and I’m honestly thankful that it’s a manic episode over depressive because it seems like no one is trying to connect him to the right resources there are things that can even be done by force because none of us know when he’ll have a depressive episode (because he’s at risk for one especially with all the stress and this could end up with him taking his life) or if his manic episode will become PHYSICALLY dangerous. Most of what his has done has of course been harmful, but he’s has limited physical interaction.
This is sooo true! My husband suffers from bipolar disorder type 1 and he tends to have manic episodes just like this one, he speaks just like Kanye when he’s in that state of mind and tbh I am glad is manic and not depressive because of what you stated 😔

As someone who struggles with Bipolar Type I & II, I also sound/act like Kanye in episodes of mania. Not really as much now but before, I would use social media especially Facebook as an outlet for ranting & airing out all the mental gunk I’m not able to express to those around me in a positive manner. I tend to bottle it up until a manic episode occurs. Then after 20 or 30 minutes, the mania won’t be as high & then I’ll mass delete posts & videos etc until the mania spikes again. Depressive states get bad to where there needs to be suicide watch. It’s very scary to go through so I empathize deeply with Kanye. He needs help, not slandering by the media & I do believe the Kardashian-Jenner family are not innocent & are rather antagonizing in this but Kanye isn’t innocent either. Kanye needs mental help & to have the proper legal counsel when it comes to having rights to his children because he is a dad who genuinely cares. This also comes from a single mother who has been with my son’s abusive father & had to leave him 3 times before I stayed gone. My heart goes out to him & the kids. Hoping the best for their family 💕

Kanye is right. 8 year olds should not have social media. It's not appropriate to call a father "obsessive" and "controlling" for not wanting his 8 year old daughter to have a social media account with 5 million strangers following her.

North isn’t old enough to be on tik tok according to their own terms. It is well known that young girls are sexualized in media and with Kim being a sex icon, I am interpreting Kanye’s concern as north becoming a target online.
With him saying “you get to see a piece of what I deal with” I think was in reference to Kim telling women to work while paying her employees an unlivable wage. I think Kanye has a hard time expressing his thoughts coherently especially with his anxiety and known illness. I think we should give him a chance to be heard. A lot of the points he makes are true.
Norths mom owns the account and that is allowed on tiktok or we wouldn't have family channels. Also I could only respect this if he hadn't put his child on a reality TV show for years first. I can’t understand how some people fail to see that everything he is doing, including this concern over his daughter’s social media presence, is a pure manipulative tactic. Yes, he does have valid points but he can easily communicate with Kim privately and discuss it. Him posting all of his issues on social media proves his lack of emotional maturity. Im actually afraid of the influence he may be having on abusive men that are trying to get control of their exes by using the children. Since Kim is studying law I’m sure she knows that she can’t just keep her kids from their dad without cause. That’s withholding parenting time and many can face jail time for this. However, I think she has more than enough evidence with his threats and erratic behaviors online to prove that it’s safer for the children to be with her instead. I genuinely hope that they don’t do this in front of the children and they are kept in a stable environment.

Here the thing: everyone says they agree with Kanye’s points. And yes, social media can be very damaging for children, but it’s the way he goes about it. I understand Kim also uses social media as a game but that doesn’t make it right for him either. At the end of the day, what he is doing is going to cause more damage than social media ever will for his children. His frustrations in this case is probably the only time I’ll agree with him. But in light of all the chaotic ways he has handled his divorce and his children this will only create more of that chaotic tension. I feel like this situation is just complex and is really difficult to watch in public . Not for them (parents) but for the kids who have to watch this back and have everyone know their business.

I understand why Kanye is frustrated. It’s hard to go from being able to see your kids every day, and thinking that he has his family around him without thinking twice about it.
Obviously we don’t know what was going on behind closed doors, and what really lead to this divorce. Here’s the thing: you can be progressively frustrated. He can fight to see his kids evenly, but when he’s using threatening/erratic behavior, especially about someone close to Kim, how does she know he’s not gonna try to manipulate the kids against her or hurt someone close to the kids to prove a point?
It just feels like he’s getting away with a lot with his behavior because “Kanye’s always been crazy”. He needs help with his anger management and then being able to sit down with Kim’s lawyers to get a true 50/50 custody when he calms down. I’m not saying his behavior is making it okay for him to not see his kids, but as a mom I would be worried too if my ex was being really erratic.

Tictoc is dangerous for kids! I've heard several parents talk about how they've had to shut their kids account down bc of adults trying to interact with them inappropriately and meet with them! Hell no!

yes!!! Kanye is who he is but he's RIGHT!!! regardless of how he's handling it, at the end of the day he loves his babies and has the better intentions out of the two parents for those kids.

I might have an unpopular opinion but I agree with kanye. He should absolutely have a say about his minor daughter being on Tik tok while also being kept from Sunday service. There is a lot dividing people and families I agree with him fighting to bring his children to church.

Imo 6.3 million people interested in an 8 year old child is terrifying! I totally understand why Kanye is worried. I totally agree that a father should be allowed to be a presence in their children's lives. Coparenting means that you respect each other's individuality. Your children are a perfect mix of both parents.
Coparenting only works with BOTH parents are healthy, happy, and most importantly stable. He is in an incredibly unstable place in his life right now. He is making threats, going off on incomprehensible tangents, and voicing all of his thoughts and concerns, a lot of which are seriously valid, in the worst ways possible. She is baiting him in to reacting poorly by continuing to post videos of their 8 y.o. child for millions of people to see (creepy), not communicating well enough, and surprising him by canceling multiple meetings with their kids. Kids have to be protected. Adults need to take responsibility for their actions and seek and accept help when needed.

This hits so close to home. I know EXACTLY what Kim is going through. My ex is bipolar and I went through a lot the after we separated. It seems Ye is manic atm. He needs to seek therapy so he can confide and vent his feelings and thoughts to a counselor versus blasting their private lives. It seems like Kim is TRYING to work with Kanye - he was upset over emo TikTok, it was removed. As far as Sunday Service-they have 4 different kids with 4 schedules to work around, so he needs to understand that his kids won’t be able to make it every Sun for service. Kanye is putting Kim and Pete’s LIVES in DANGER with his foolishness. He is encouraging violence towards them, and with so many devout Ye followers-there could be a few lunatics in the mix that think Kanye would “want” their “help” with his situation. He’s putting his entire family in danger and I hope and pray 🙏🏼 he stops before someone gets hurt. My heart goes out to Kim-I know what she’s going through. I seriously hope Kanye stops.

Kanye's problem is that he feels entitled to access to the kids, on Kim's time. He doesn't seems to understand that he only gets access to the kids when it is his time. He wants access like he is in the same household, that is not how shared custody works. Kim has the right to schedule her time, with her kids, around her life, not his. He expects Kim and the kids to drop everything to accommodate him when ever he wants. But then again, Kim and the kids are only support players in Kanye's mind, how dare they not go along with his agenda, because after all, HE is what is important here.

Just because he is so erratic, people have apparently stopped noticing how his subsequent sentences are connected to the preceding ones -- right after he complained that she is singing about being in love with an emo girl, he said that leftists don't want fathers to have any say what their children are taught in school and that her school is godless. If you don't pay as much attention to politics you might not see the connections... homophobia/transphobia and what is taught in schools about LGBTQ+ are big right now in conservative media and Kanye's repeating their talking points.

Kanye is allowed to feel frustrated and unheard. I can't imagine how stressful this situation is. But going online and yelling/ranting about it is an attempt to sway the public into magically helping him. It's manipulative and messy. Kim has stayed quiet about it, which honestly speaks louder than Kanye's posts. He really needs to go talk to a professional privately, like a therapist, so he can have someone that he can lean on a little bit. It's inappropriate and I hate that I, a random person that doesn't follow the family's drama, know about this.
Sidenote: Kanye bringing religion, politics, Kim's current boyfriend, and other celebrities into this is really strange and has nothing to do with the divorce/kids. That's what honestly makes this feel more like a rant.

The commentary is so different between non parents and parents on this debate. As a parent, I sincerely don’t care how “harmless” a tiktok can be. A child needs to be a child. If we think about it, most celebrities (not influencers) don’t allow their kids to have TikTok’s & nobody questions it so Kanye’s stance shouldn’t be questioned either. I don't necessarily fully agree with how Kanye is going about it but it's been clear that he doesn't want his kid on tiktok or atleast needs posts to be ran past him so that he too can have a say which is only right. Kim knowing all good and well how this shit last went down did the very thing that caused Ye to go off, which she claimed was the very thing that would do more damage than good but then still knowingly fueled it. Kim is not completely innocent. What I also find shocking is how Kanye revealed where his kid goes to school and that is soooooooo DANGEROUS!
