Thanks for posting. I'm facing the same job. Decided to do a You Tube search and came across. Ir's very helpful. One thing to read the manual - a much better thing to watch someone go through the process. Getting that pressure arms looks tricky but good to others have gone there before !!
Glad it was helpful! That plastic part is the weakest link in the whole thing. We anchor a lot and I’ve had to just replace it again. I’m glad the video helped and good luck with the replacement!
I have done this replacement twice. I did not remove the chain/rope. there is room for chain to still be on by pushing the pressure arm against the outside with a thin screwdriver. you can leverage it against the wheel as needed to hold it. better with two people (3 hands) but can be done with two hands.
Just aggressive lever pressure with a screwdriver to get it out of the way of the gypsy. I feared breaking my new pressure arm but that’s how much it took to get it out of the way.
Thanks. I just took mine apart because I had a bad knot inside. All I found was the clip for the pressure arm, so it looks like this was a perfect video for me👍
the pressure arm clip.. your angle was not good.. how do you pry it up? I am doing the same right now! mine does not want to come out, and I dont want to break the housing

So what was the trick getting the top piece in with the pressure arm pushing against it?
