I have played Turnberry twice and am very privileged to have done so. I would suggest to anyone who hasn't played there to make a pilgrimage to this beautiful and historic place.
Great vlog. Always remember two fantastic courses there. TKRB would be a top 25 course, if it was based anywhere else. Love the edit with the “modern music” with the historical shots of the course.

It’s a tragedy that the R&A won’t have The Open there. Their political opinions regarding its owner are robbing us, the fans, from some truly great golf. I’ve been fortunate to have played this course. I’ve have played it from the back pegs. On still days you wonder what the fuss is about. On a windy day it is without a doubt the most challenging course I have ever played. I’ve been fortunate to play all over the world and when asked I always say this was my most cherished golfing experience of my life. If anyone wants an experience they will speak of forever make the effort to visit.

Unfortunately not open to all as your headline.At one thousand pounds to play per round only open to the select few.

Open to all in principle but ludicrously overpriced so not really. Prices to play these courses have gone absolutely mad.
Yes they are very expensive, that being said they are still available for the public to play.
