A contemplation on the uncomfortable state of the world and planet. Looking towards beauty as a coping mechanism and a means of finding light. Rooted in flamenco rhythm and repetition, and inspired by Renaissance and Pre-Raphaelite paintings, Radiohead music videos and Fellini films.

This event is part of our annual Movement Research Festival (MoRF) where we invite diverse local, national, and international choreographers to create stage works on dance students and the local community. The 2024 TransFoRM is in partnership with Dancers’ Studio West and the Calgary Hip Hop & Street Dance Festival.
